Nothing Is Impossible

Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord , as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: - Numbers 14:28 Moses sent twelve spies into the land of Canaan, to go spy, and bring back report of the land. Ten out of the twelve, said they can't take the land, reason being that the occupants of the land were giants, too strong for them to overcome, and that they were as grasshoppers in their sight. By their report, they were able to convince majority of the Israelites of their inadequacy, inability etc., so the people murmured against God, Moses and Aaron, therefore sparking off lamentation throughout their camp. Although God forgave them for doubting Him, and He didn't smite them as He had intended, for their unbelief, and rebellious act; because Moses had interceded for them. Yet, God could not change what had come out of their mouth and had believed in their heart, Ecclesiastes 5:6. But there were among the twelve that said, we are well able to overcome them,...

Merry Christmas 2019

As we celebrate this Christmas, a little reflection on the reason for the season. Adam's transgression brought about man's fall from grace. But thanks be to God who has restored us back to grace, by Christ Jesus whom He sent to accomplish this task. What a joy, to all who believe. We are no longer, fallen from grace. We have been reconciled back to God into the glory realm. What a joy, joy to the world... Hallelujah! Joyful, joyful song forever and ever....this is a reason for celebrating the season. Merry Christmas to you!

Victory Of Sin

Do you know that Jesus already paid the price for the sins of every person under heaven? Yes, He has! He die for the world, not just for some selected few, but the whole world, John 3:16. You might say, you mean to tell me He died for the worst gangster, murderer, prostitute as well, yes he did! He paid for their sins as well. Although it is free gift to all, but only those that accept this gift, gets to enjoy its benefits. You may ask again, how can one be close to God, when the urge to commit crime is always active in you? Jesus did not come to save the self  righteous, but sinners unto repentance. It's only when you're in Christ Jesus, listening to His Word, studying the Word of God, and in constant fellowship with Him, that the taste for sin will cool-off, its a gradual possess. Many think, you have to stop sinning first before you can come to Jesus, that will never happen. It's by coming to Jesus, that you receive the grace that empower you to live above sin, ...

Your Work

Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. - Psalm 39:5 Every man out of God's will, no matter how great he seemed; is vanity, will vanish away and perish. Each man's work will be tried, of what sort it is, if it's good(God's will); it will stand. If the root is evil(outside God's will), it will burn. Jesus Christ spent just three years doing the will of God; the work is still standing, and will stand forever. Selah #hedgersarmy, #prosperityreality

Your Body

... but the body is of Christ. - Colossians 2:17 Our body is of the anointing. God expect us to present our body to Him, so he can work through us in straightening every downward sloppy area of our life. Example: let's say, a person is a police officer; once he or she presents his or her body to God, God can work through that individual in restoring genuine law and order to the community and department, they represent. Likewise, in other areas as well. Education, politics, business, career or even in families etc. Without God and His nature working in the life of man, disaster will be eminent. Romans 12:1 says,  "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." Have a fruitful week, in Jesus name! Jesus is Lord! Mark E. Airononi

Right Standing

Do you know that Jesus already paid the price for the sins of every person under heaven? Yes, He has!  He die for the entire world, not just for some selected few, but the whole world, John 3:16 . Jesus did not come to save the righteous, but sinners unto repentance. It's only when you're in Christ Jesus, listening, studying the Word of God, and in constant fellowship with Him, that the taste for sin will cool-off, you simply lost the desire to continue.  Many think, you have to stop sinning first before you can come to Jesus; that may never happen. It's by coming to Jesus, that you receive the grace that empower you to live abov...

Priest Place

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Hebrews 1:1-2 It is true that we all have access to the Father by his Spirit dwelling in us (born again believers), but some have special relationship with God more than others, because of deeper and constant fellowship with him always. It is in this fellowship, we'd develop the Fruits of the Spirit in us (received at new birth) , otherwise the fruits once starved, will never really develop to maturity. If it's not developed, then one will be lagging behind in so many ways. Luke 13:6-9 says,  "He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. [7] Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree,...

Glorified Together

... if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; IF SO BE THAT WE SUFFER WITH HIM, THAT WE MAY BE ALSO GLORIFIED TOGETHER. - Romans 8:17. There are numerous places in the Bible, where the scriptures said; they (the disciples) rejoiced in their affliction or tribulation, they also counted it worthy to have suffered for Jesus's sake. Why where they rejoicing? A clear understanding from the above text will enable us maximize the benefit of this kingdom mystery. First, 1 Peter 4:15, enlightened us about things not to suffer for, it says, "But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters." And verse 16 says, rather count it joy when you suffer for this, "Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf." why? That the sufferers may be glorified together with Christ Jesus! Hallelujah!! What kind of suffering i...

Leaders Or Tormentors?

"Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it. But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name." Acts 4:16-17 What seem to be the problem with these leaders? They agreed that a notable miracle had been done without diabolical means, no extortion, tricks nor the likes. Yet they want to stop them from continuing, from setting the captives free, and healing the oppressed?! It simply means they prefer seeing people in their despondent state without any empathy, or plans to help out. Isn't it strange, that this is the kind of mind set those leaders have toward the people they lead? Even today, it's no better, it is rather worse. Jesus is Lord! Mark E. Airononi #hedgersarmy

Way To Know

Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake. Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice. - John 13:37-38 Here we saw through the pages of scriptures, Jesus gave Peter a word that is to come, uniquely to him alone. How do I mean? In John 18:27, when the cock crewed many people around heard the cock crew, but it meant nothing to them outside generally speaking, time/clock related. But to Peter, it was a great deal, because it is a confirmation that he had just denied ever knowing his master, this was a devastating moment for him. Although nothing happened physically to the knowledge of everyone around him, but to him, he just got a confirmation of what Jesus told him earlier, and it wasn't a nice moment for him at all. Hebrews 1:1-2 says,  "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the ...

Generating Praises

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. Acts 16:25-26 High praises can turn any situation around for testimony. It's so true, but a better understanding of how to generate praise, will help us derive more from this supernatural kingdom secret for divine intervention at all time. There is a secret to the source of Joy, that the foremost Apostles exhibited: In Acts 5:41 the scripture says,  "And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name." they were JOYFUL that they had SUFFERED or are SUFFERING SHAME not because to stole or did something unlawful, rather because they PREACHED CHRIST JESUS glorified, 1 Peter 4:14-16. Remembering the promises from scriptures, in sp...

Be Ye Separate

And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. - Genesis 13:5 Lot, Abraham's nephew was blessed alongside Abraham by his affiliation with him, that the land they occupied became too small to accommodate their growth and business empire. Suddenly, it got to a point where the same Lot, became an hindrance towards Abraham's growth, advancement and breakthrough. For as long as Lot remain with Abraham, God couldn't do much for Abraham. Perhaps, he was doing some shady deals, because at the end it surely speaks. Genesis 13:14-15 says,  "And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever." There are certain people and things, you must let go, in other to change level supernaturally, if you intend to experience the next lev...

Say What Words?

Until you say a thing the devil have nothing to work with. You may wonder, what I meant? You may have symptoms of sickness eg., cough, fever etc, you can change it with your words instead of accepting its verdict into your life. Most symptoms never get to a full blown stage until a name is first established and accepted. Once the name has been established and received, then Satan can then have something to work with. In Genesis 3:1-4 , until Eve revealed God's instruction for them to the serpent, the devil had nothing to work with. Also, in 2 Samuel 13:3-5, until Amnon revealed his thought to Jonadab, he(Jonadab) had nothing to work with. Thought is the process towards performing the act, but until you perform the act, you have not done it. Every action is a product of the thoughts we allowed to linger for too long. This is why the Bible says we should cast down imaginations, before they gain stronghold, 2 Corinthians 10:5. The word of God always admonishes us to think and s...

Overcome in God

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. - 1 Corinthians 10:13 As believers we need to understand that no matter the size of the problem we are faced with, we have the ability to overcome else we wouldn't face it. There is a way of escape that God has provided in the midst of the storm. we need to locate the way and walk in it. There are many ways of getting things done; but pertaining the things that matters, we must follow the right way that God has provided, to avoid walking in error. Some examples: Let's say, Brother Kenneth E. Hagin, never overcame his health struggles and never taught it, many in the charismatic today, would have thought its a thing of the past or just Bible story. What about Brother Kenneth Copeland? If he hadn't overcome his indebtedness and pover...

Power In The Word

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 1 Corinthians 1:17. We are to preach and teach the gospel, not just with fair speeches of man's wisdom. But by the help of the Holy Spirit, lest the message become void of power.  This is happening in many places today, people exact more energy on their eloquence, reasoning, intellectual prowess etc., all these have their place. But without the Spirit of God at work in you, and giving you utterance, it is all just motivational speaking, with no lasting solution and impact in the life of anyone, 1 Corinthians 2:6. The Word of God contains the power that breaks yokes, and it lifts heavy burden from the destiny of men, so that children of God can manifest here on earth.  Verse 18 says,  "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish(unsaved) foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."...

Your Power To Choose

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: THEREFORE CHOOSE LIFE, THAT BOTH THOU AND THY SEED MAY LIVE: Deuteronomy 30:19 God has given to man, the freewill to make choices and to decide what he want. But once we make the decision to follow Him in Christ Jesus then, our Will must align with His own. From the above text, though He has given us the power to choose, He went ahead to advise us on the way to go (what to choose). Which of course, is still subject to our decision. People say, 'God can just make you do anything He wants' the statement is not true; because it would mean, God has to violate His own law. God gave man 'freewill', all God will do is knock, counsel or advise. If you follow, good for you, if not..., It's your choice; cos everyone will give account for his/her choices and decisions. If we intend to enjoy God's ever abiding presence, it is expedient that we f...

No Condemnation

Somebody said to me, Pastor I have sinned, I have disobeyed God! This statement, as simple as it sound, can put a destiny to a halt. We must understand, God does not want us to remain in sin, although we are in a world where evil permeate, and we make mistakes now and then. If we would only return to our God as a little child, and say, Father, I have missed it, I have sinned, please forgive me. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. This is one of the reason, Christ Jesus went to the cross, this is the reason we have grace, this is also the reason the mercy of God are new every morning. Just go to Him humbly, not proud-fully or arrogantly; for God resist the proud and arrogant, but give more grace to the humble. This is also the reason, the devil is endeavoring to making man to feel guilty and unworthy all the time, to make him(man) run away from God as unworthy vessel, instead of running to God that makes worthy. Yes, we are...

Light Bearer

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. - 2 John 1:10-11.  What doctrine? The manifestation of Jesus Christ as the Son of God into the world, He is the Prince of Peace! Isaiah 9:6.  What this scripture is saying is, anyone that does not bring peace nor acknowledge peace, RECEIVE HIM NOT. Of course, nobody will come outright to declare war or trouble for acceptance purpose. The scripture is simply showing indicators to watch out for, study and observe their antics, even though they talk peace, underneath the tune they meant something else. You should be able to sense if it's genuine or false or fake as a believer. Example Matthew 7:15-20.  Meditating about the above scriptures, the Spirit of God ministered to me; saying, "when people rejoice over evil work, they are partaker of the evil deed, either saved or unsaved." Man...

Standing Strong

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecuted. 2 Timothy 3:12 Naturally, nobody disturb the dead, and they can't disturb anyone. When people without Christ are at ease, and it seems no trouble befall them, it is simply because they are dead spiritually. But, when a person becomes born again, and come alive spiritually, by the quickening power that is in Christ Jesus, Satan is going to come at the individual with everything he's got! You need to be aware, this is the reason for persecution, rejection and suffering believers go through or suffer. Not poverty or sicknesses, a believer will have to claim his victory them by faith, because Jesus already delivered us from those. Romans 8:18,17,  "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." "... if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together." Jesus is Lord! Ma...

Power Of Unity

Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Amos 3:3 Many work under heavy bondage, labouring and wondering why things aren't working out? It's because you are outside the blessing arena! From the above text, we understand that when there is an agreement between two to work together, it simply means they united in purpose, and where there is unity, the blessing of God can function maximally and unhindered; this brings growth, prosperity, favour, progress, health, riches, etc.,  But where disunity abound, you have; strife, bitterness, lack, sorrow, sickness, poverty etc., It is all about our choice, when we choose to obey God and follow His instructions the blessing follows us. If not, the opposite is the case. The power is in your hands, choose unity, choose the blessing! Jesus is Lord! Mark E. Airononi

The Great Provider

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. Matthew 10:41 When we are privilege to sow a seed, into the work or life of God's agent, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, or as led by the Spirit of God to sow to the poor or certain individuals. We should have the understanding that its a seed, that entitles you to harvest in time of need, that's if God is the one leading you, I am not talking about, being coarsed into giving by some merchant(s); if it's God, you will certainly reap the harvest. God is a rewarder. I want to share a revelation from the book of 2 Kings 4:8-37., and chapter 8:1-6. In Shunem, there is this great woman the Bible referred to as the "Shunammite woman" , oftentimes she constrained Elisha to stop over their house to eat bread. after some time, she persuad...

For The Called

If God qualify you, and your language is not refined, care not for it. He will give you the basic tools required for the assignment. But study the Word of God to show yourself approved of God.  Most of the people God uses are some of the basest of men that there is; what many refers to as ignorant or unlearned men, yet God have given to them a message to convey, and keys to kingdoms. 1 Corinthians 1:26-27 says,  "For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;" Also, in Acts 4:13-14, the scripture saith, "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. And beholding the man which was healed...

Overcoming Offenses

When the devil want to attack an individual, he wouldn't come to you in a figure, with 2 horns and a garden fork in his hand, no! He will work through some of the closest persons to you that will heed to his commands. Jesus was not betrayed by some distant fellow, but by a close one at that. In Luke 17:1 the scripture says, "Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!" This statement did not end with Jesus, every word, statement and revelation of the scriptures is progressive revelation its applicable today as it was then. "... Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Matthew 25:40. I pray that by the grace of God, you will not fall a victim of the devil's trap and tricks, in Jesus name! Jesus is Lord! Mark E. Airononi

His Work First

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. - John 9:4. The time to work is now, not tomorrow. but now! It's interesting to note, God created us for a purpose, many are not bothered in discovering for what purpose, because of cares of this life. Rather, they enslave themselves at the peak of their strength, in pursuit of their own dreams and aspirations. It's unfortunate that when they run out of strength 'at night' as it were, some turn to God when their strength to work is gone; others when afflicted, turned to God, while some lost their life in the process and never get to discover their purpose at all. "Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the Lord, and my work with my God." Isaiah 49:4.  How is doing our own will at the prime of our strength, a fulfillment of Matthew 6:33?, that says, "...seek ye first t...

Made Whole

... Wilt thou be made whole? John 5:6 Why was Jesus Christ asking the man this question, seeing he has been in that situation for a long time? The man's WILL will determines the man's own lot, hence it has to be activated. Verse 10 of John 6, says, "The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed."  You see, if the man's Will was not activated or involved in the healing process, he would have reclined or remained to the same afflicted spot when pressured, (some forces though human in this case; but this is to give us insight how things happen. Your freedom is often challenged, spiritually and physically too) they said, it is not lawful for you to gain your liberty. In other to side-in with God's Word and WILL for you, your Will and understanding of God's Will is mandatory. Jesus came to set the captive free! Refuse to remain in that same despondent state, no matter what the ...

Stay Fit For Use

There are sin that once engaged, will disqualify us from certain task, assignment and calling, in this life. Certainly, when we ask God for forgiveness and mercy, He will forgive and pardon us; but the individual may no longer be fit to function in certain office(s). Examples: In Numbers 13-14, the children of Israel brought evil report from the land they had gone to spy, they provoked God. Judgement would have fallen upon them immediately, but Moses prayed and interceded on their behalf, they were forgiven, but no longer qualified to enter into the promised land. Also, in 2 Samuel 13:1-20. Amnon couldn't resist the temptation of sleeping Tamar his sister. He lost his life and ultimately the throne was out of sight. Be mindful of your decisions and actions, it may be very fatal towards your destiny. I PRAY, THAT YOU WILL NOT TAKE RASH AND DESTINY DAMAGING DECISIONS FROM TODAY ONWARD, IN JESUS NAME!  Mark E. Airononi

On Whose Instruction?

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. - Proverbs 3:6. One of the greatest sin of man is trying to be like God independently of God. I don't think God have any problem with us wanting to be like him, He created us in His own image. But, there is a lot wrong when we are trying to be like God without God. Remember, that is what led to the fall of man in the first place. Genesis 3:5, "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and YE SHALL BE AS gods, knowing good and evil." The question is, who is telling you what to do? or whom are you obeying? Romans 6:16 says, "... his servants ye are to whom ye obey;... " It matters, on whose instructions we act upon. That is why, Proverbs 3:6 ask us to acknowledge God in all our ways, that way we are acting on His direction and guidance, which put us above the realm and kingdom of the devil. "Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and fo...

Power Of Will

Man have between now and the judgment day to do what he will's, positive or negative. However, to go the positive way, you will face some resistance, but God have made you a world overcomer. If you want God's intervention, don't just wait for Him to intervene without your asking, to wait is to waste. God gave man the right to make choices 'FREE WILL'. More often than not, we expect God to intervene without asking Him. On whose authority is He going to act? Remember, God created the world and gave man dominion and authority to subdue it, Genesis 1:28. He did not include Himself in the process, if we need His help, we ought to ask Him. If He act without our asking, He will be violating His own law, God will never do that! Lets look at this illustration from the Holy Bible, the book of Acts of the Apostles chapter 12 . From verse 1-3. Herod the king, killed James the brother of John. seeing, it pleased the Jews, he went further to apprehend Peter, with the i...

A Child or A Son?

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: - Romans 8:16 At new birth, our spirit is quickened or made alive. This( spirit ) died in man, when Adam sinned in the garden of Eden. God told Adam the day you eat of the tree, you shalt surely die. Genesis 2:17. So, it was the spirit of Adam that died, when he sinned by disobedient. I have heard people say, 'but he( Adam ) didn't die as God had said' yes, he did! Through Christ Jesus, the spirit that was dead to the things of God is quickened back. Now the Spirit of God is bearing witness with our spirit, that we are no longer under the authority and kingdom of Satan, due to man's fall. But, we have been translated into the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ sacrifice on the cross, and that we are now children of God. Being a child of God is good, but there is more for us. There is a purpose for which we were created. We can only know why, understand why and be guided, and...

Wake up, Manifest!

The prayer is scriptural, no matter how direct it seemed. It means wake up! Romans 8:19 says, "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God." When are the sons of God expected to manifest? If they continue sleeping, or their helpers are sleeping, it would never happen(to manifest). In the case of Queen Esther, in the book of Esther in the Holy Bible, she and the entire Jews within the provinces, proclaimed and went on a three days fast, to change the event of sudden evil, determined against them, Esther 4:15-17.  If they had been sleeping, they would have been wiped out. But by their engagement on spiritual warfare, in Esther 6:1-3, the scripture says, "ON THAT NIGHT COULD NOT THE KING SLEEP, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. [2] And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's chamberlains, the keeper...

Remember God's Place

But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. 2 Samuel 7:15. This promise is in response to King David from God, when he made an enquiry about building a house for the Ark of God. He loved God and was desperate to please God in anyway possible. Verse 2 said, 2 Samuel 7:2,  "That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains." To King David this wasn't right, and he wants it changed. However, God told him, that his son would, and not him, but he pleased God, that he had it in his heart; and got blessed for that. Even today, David is a household name. Haggai 1:4 says,  "Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?" which house? The house of God, the Church! How comfortable are you when you see certain things out of place or not the way it should be, and do not portrait the right image, as ...

Rebuke?

For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. - Proverbs 3:12. When a father loves a child, he will always rebuke him/her eg., do this, don't do that etc,. To the child and others around that aren't sensitive, will assume, he is just being mean to the child. I know some take things to the extreme. But, the truth is, he want the best from and for the child. In the lives of the Israelite for example, when they were very close to God, He still rebuke them, sometimes it can result to lost of live(s), as the case may be, that is, when someone transgress. When He is not pleased with their activities at all, after several rebuke, another nation will just evade Israel, kill, take them captive and take away their spoils. But, ones they repent, He is found in them and restore them back. Child! If your father claim to love you and does not rebuke you, you should be afraid of that father. Seriously, you should be concern. No matter how obe...

Wisdom Primary Requirement

If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. Ecclesiastes 10:10.  The more we conform to earthly things, the more we loose touch with divinity. Then we blunt that needs sharpening. Things may not seem to be working, after trying all avenue. But, have you tried wisdom? The above text says, "wisdom is profitable to direct" that means it can direct our steps into the right path of life. How do we get this wisdom? James 1:5,  "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."  It means, God is the giver of wisdom, and he gives whomever ask of him. Have you ask him?  God gives us wisdom through his Word. Example, He said, in Matthew 6:33,  "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Unfortunately, people want it the other way aroun...

Judgement By Who?

1 Peter 4:17 "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:... " I have heard people quote this scripture with all the joy they can muster, like they are the judge, also to shame (believers) the body of Christ. When in actual fact the emphasis is on the remaining part of the verse; "... and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" believe the Word of God, you don't want to know about the end of the disobedient. It was Smith Wigglesworth who said these words, "Hell is such an awful place that even the demons hate the thought of going  there. How much more should men seek to be saved from the pit?" Believers, makes mistakes too, but that does not make an outcast, that is why God the Judge of all, will be the one to determine the acts that are deliberate and the ones that are unintentional or error. God determines what causes what, and on what premise, not man. "We jus...

Power To Choose

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 6:23 From the above text, it is clear a man can only reap what he sow. The wages, fruits, or end product of sin is death. But, the end product of the gift God is offering us, is life eternal. Jesus Christ is the gift! He is God's gift to man, that through him we can approach the Father, 2 Corinthians 5:19. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16. Someone said, the greatest expression of love is giving. I believe this statement! God so loved us, He gave us his only begotten Son to prove his love towards us. If you claim to love Him(God), what are you giving in return to prove your love? For example in Romans 12:1 the scripture says, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye PRESENT YOUR BODIES A LIVING SACRIFICE, ...

Faith, Rest!

And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. - Mark 11:21 What I observed from this passage of scripture is that after the conversation between Jesus Christ and the tree, he spoke these last words to the tree, "And Jesus answered and said unto it, NO MAN EAT FRUIT OF THEE HEREAFTER FOR EVER. And his disciples heard it." Mark 11:14.  Thereafter, He completely removed the conversation between him and that tree from His thought. And, He did not, stop-by every now and then, to see if the words he spoke to the tree was coming to pass or not. The Bible said, it was Peter, who called to his remembrance, what had happened to the tree, and he said in verse 23 and 24, in other words, once you have faith in God and you say a thing, believe that you have the answer and it will be so. The thing with us is that, once we profess our faith; all the time we go back and forth, trying to see the process. Well, it i...

Real Wealth

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  Revelation 3:17 Some of the most difficult people to preach the gospel with, are those who think they have somethings; in terms of riches. They make jest of us, like; how many cars do you have, if you have any? Things like that... Nobody starts from the top, in life. If you are going to make any significant impact in life, you have to start from the bottom, then grow. (foundation matters). It's amazing that after some time, when these ministries that looks insignificant today, beginning to grow and they can't be intimidated anymore, the mockers begin to feel threatened, then they start to persecute, or shame them, for living lavishly. Well, every good parent wants their child/children to grow, and that is what the Word of God is saying, from the above text, reading it through the next, verse [18] say...

Submission Pt.2

Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.  - John 13:8. Outside the spiritual benefits of the exercise, Jesus was also showing them by example, the importance of submitting to God's will as it may demand, no matter the circumstances, status and inconvenience. Jesus is the "Word of God" that became flesh, by whom were all things created and for whom they were all created, Colossians 1:16. Yet, He stooped down to wash his disciples feet. This gives a preview to Peter's reaction; how can you be the one to wash my foot?! Thanks be to God, he was corrected. This is way out of proportion, for this modern day generation. 'me wash your feet? Never!' there is more to it spiritually, than the physical exercise. However, we know the origin of this kind of attitude, pride, and the father of it, is the devil. He is the father of all that are under the influence of the spirit of pride. ...

Submission Pt. 1

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 We have to willingly submit to God's authority otherwise, the individual will be forcefully driven by the devil. Man was never created to be completely independent without a spiritual oversight. In our daily lives as believers, it's required that we submit to one another. Ephesians 5:21, "Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God." this is not a one way thing. As man and wife, submission is required, to live a blessed and fruitful life together. Ephesians 5:22,25,33 "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. [25] Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; [33] Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband." Any and everything about the kingdom of God is about submitting. Accepting Jesus...
