Glorified Together

... if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; IF SO BE THAT WE SUFFER WITH HIM, THAT WE MAY BE ALSO GLORIFIED TOGETHER.
- Romans 8:17.

There are numerous places in the Bible, where the scriptures said; they (the disciples) rejoiced in their affliction or tribulation, they also counted it worthy to have suffered for Jesus's sake. Why where they rejoicing? A clear understanding from the above text will enable us maximize the benefit of this kingdom mystery.
First, 1 Peter 4:15, enlightened us about things not to suffer for, it says,
"But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters."
And verse 16 says, rather count it joy when you suffer for this,
"Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf." why? That the sufferers may be glorified together with Christ Jesus! Hallelujah!!

What kind of suffering is this passage even talking about? REJECTION!
When you narrow everything down, the summary is REJECTION.
John 1:11 speaking about Jesus, said; "He came unto his own, and his own received him not." the world will only persecute you, when you're not one of them.

Jesus speaking to his disciples said,
"Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also." John 15:20.

So, if you are afraid of persecution, the question is, where do you belong? earth is a passage, and persecutions(you get persecuted for living right) is part of the prerequisite to be joint-heirs with Jesus. It's not that God want you to suffer, but once you make Jesus your Lord, the world kick vehemently against you. They're being controlled and influenced by the god of the world(the devil) 2 Corinthians 4:4.

Consider and meditate on the word of God, and make your decision. God bless you!

Jesus is Lord!

SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....

BE RESOLUTE

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. John 6:38 If you need to, you may; examine yourself and see, can the above statement be true of you or about you? Because in life you will face obstacles and challenges that will press and push you to extreme limit or out of measure to a breaking point [in despair of life, according to Apostle Paul]. These things happens in other to make you change course; but stand thou resolute.  Jesus said, persecutions will arise for the Word sake.  In Matthew 26:39, Jesus was praying "... O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." While on the cross, Jesus cried out, "... My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"  Well..., the Father didn't go anywhere, but the heat of the situation(s) make it look that way.  Enroute the promise land, there are a lot of obstacles; there is nothing easy about it. Sure the Devil makes it d...

Extremely Blessed!

A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth. – Proverbs 17:8 If I could give you a gift this Christmas, the Word is what I'd give you. I'd rather give it to you than a check for a million dollars. Because you can run through a million dollars real quick, but the truth of God's Word never quits—and it will get you out of situations a million dollars can't get you out of. Ken and I are just ordinary people. But when we latched on to God's Word, we latched on to something out of the ordinary, something that changed our lives. Every area of our lives. Nothing that's happened to us has happened because of us. It's happened because of God's Word. In fact, I don't even have to know you to promise you this: If you'll give God's Word your full attention—and not be afraid of His will for your life—you're going to be happier and more prosperous than anything you could ever dream up. O...
