His Work First

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.- John 9:4.

The time to work is now, not tomorrow. but now!
It's interesting to note, God created us for a purpose, many are not bothered in discovering for what purpose, because of cares of this life. Rather, they enslave themselves at the peak of their strength, in pursuit of their own dreams and aspirations.
It's unfortunate that when they run out of strength 'at night' as it were, some turn to God when their strength to work is gone; others when afflicted, turned to God, while some lost their life in the process and never get to discover their purpose at all.

"Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the Lord, and my work with my God." Isaiah 49:4.
How is doing our own will at the prime of our strength, a fulfillment of Matthew 6:33?, that says, "...seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Base on this scripture, many have misplaced priority, and have engaged their will, against God's original plan for their life, in pursuit of their own plans, before God's, in pursuit of things that supposed to additions as seek first, His Kingdom (our purpose).
This does not mean that you shouldn't do anything until you discover it, it simply means do not be cut up with the ones that take away the time and place of the Word of God, in your heart/life.

Meditate on His Word, always.

Jesus is Lord!

SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....

SPIRITUAL KNOWING

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. Acts 13:45 In life you will face some vicious attacks from people, their reasons may seem reasonable to many [natural minds]; but their real intent, concealed. From the above text, observe the real reason the Jews were contradicting what the Apostles had said. When they saw the multitudes, they became envious. But they wouldn't come out to show their real intent; but will work up something else as the main reason.  This is why as a Christian, you can't allow yourself to be limited by the things you see, hear or feel, because they can be deceptive. The Holy Spirit is the revealer of truth, let Him guide you into all truth.  "For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy." Mark 15:10 Go beyond the physical, and sense realm. Go spiritual [there's a spiritual knowing].  Jesus is Lord!  Mark Enah...

BE RESOLUTE

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. John 6:38 If you need to, you may; examine yourself and see, can the above statement be true of you or about you? Because in life you will face obstacles and challenges that will press and push you to extreme limit or out of measure to a breaking point [in despair of life, according to Apostle Paul]. These things happens in other to make you change course; but stand thou resolute.  Jesus said, persecutions will arise for the Word sake.  In Matthew 26:39, Jesus was praying "... O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." While on the cross, Jesus cried out, "... My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"  Well..., the Father didn't go anywhere, but the heat of the situation(s) make it look that way.  Enroute the promise land, there are a lot of obstacles; there is nothing easy about it. Sure the Devil makes it d...
