Way To Know

Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake. Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.- John 13:37-38

Here we saw through the pages of scriptures, Jesus gave Peter a word that is to come, uniquely to him alone. How do I mean? In John 18:27, when the cock crewed many people around heard the cock crew, but it meant nothing to them outside generally speaking, time/clock related. But to Peter, it was a great deal, because it is a confirmation that he had just denied ever knowing his master, this was a devastating moment for him. Although nothing happened physically to the knowledge of everyone around him, but to him, he just got a confirmation of what Jesus told him earlier, and it wasn't a nice moment for him at all.
Hebrews 1:1-2 says,
"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, HATH IN THESE LAST DAYS SPOKEN UNTO US BY HIS SON, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;"

God sometimes show us things, we probably can't understand at the moment, but in the fullness of time, He will reveal it in full detail, if only we are sensitive to its dictates. But do not claim ignorant to his word and instructions, because you will answer to them.
We need to understand how He speaks and lead us, and know when He has spoken, so we can always retract when we are walking in error.

Jesus is Lord!

SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....

SPIRITUAL KNOWING

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. Acts 13:45 In life you will face some vicious attacks from people, their reasons may seem reasonable to many [natural minds]; but their real intent, concealed. From the above text, observe the real reason the Jews were contradicting what the Apostles had said. When they saw the multitudes, they became envious. But they wouldn't come out to show their real intent; but will work up something else as the main reason.  This is why as a Christian, you can't allow yourself to be limited by the things you see, hear or feel, because they can be deceptive. The Holy Spirit is the revealer of truth, let Him guide you into all truth.  "For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy." Mark 15:10 Go beyond the physical, and sense realm. Go spiritual [there's a spiritual knowing].  Jesus is Lord!  Mark Enah...

PROSPER

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2. The mind consist of one's will, intellect and emotions; which is the soul of man. At salvation the spirit of man; which is also referred to as the heart gets quickened or made alive (But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible,... ) 1 Peter 3:4  The heart is saved, the soul is not. You [we] have a duty to save our soul; and it has to be done through studying the word and meditating upon the word, that's when the transformation of mind/soul begins. Romans 12:2  "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your MIND, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." As you spend more time in the Word of God; like a mirror you beginning to see your true identity from it. This is the reason we are admonished to study the Word of God. Satan knows this, so he tries...
