Faith, Rest!

And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.- Mark 11:21

What I observed from this passage of scripture is that after the conversation between Jesus Christ and the tree, he spoke these last words to the tree, "And Jesus answered and said unto it, NO MAN EAT FRUIT OF THEE HEREAFTER FOR EVER. And his disciples heard it." Mark 11:14.
Thereafter, He completely removed the conversation between him and that tree from His thought. And, He did not, stop-by every now and then, to see if the words he spoke to the tree was coming to pass or not.
The Bible said, it was Peter, who called to his remembrance, what had happened to the tree, and he said in verse 23 and 24, in other words, once you have faith in God and you say a thing, believe that you have the answer and it will be so.
The thing with us is that, once we profess our faith; all the time we go back and forth, trying to see the process. Well, it is not our job to know how, it is God's. Jesus said in the book of John 14:10, the Father is the one doing the works. His is to declare it and the Father will confirm it or bring it to pass. And, as the Father had sent him, even so he has sent us, John 20:21.
Also John 14:13 says,
"... whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."

What I am simply saying is that, once the subject matter is ascertained that it is the will of God. Ours is to declare it, His is to perform it. It is not our job to perform or confirm, let's get this right. Isaiah 44:26 says it this way for clarity,
"That CONFIRMETH the WORD of HIS SERVANT, and PERFORMETH the COUNSEL of HIS MESSENGERS;..."

Well, I think I will stop here today, looking forward to hearing your testimonies.

Press In

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.... – Colossians 3:16 Things in this old world aren't getting any better, and in recent times, the Holy Spirit has been speaking an urgent message to my heart. He's been saying, Press in. Draw in to a more intimate relationship with your heavenly Father. If you don't, you won't make it. If you do, you will see more glorious outpourings of God than you can imagine. That message isn't just for me. It's also for you—and for every other believer on the earth today. We are in the last of the last days of this age. Jesus is coming soon. It's an exciting time, but it's also a dangerous time. Those who don't do what the Spirit says, who don't press in to the Lord, are going to go from disaster to disaster. But those who do will defeat the disasters and turn them into glory, in Jesus' Name! Your first step in drawing closer to God is to realize that you know God first in His Word. Time spent meditating i...
In the world(unsaved) system, we work harder…and harder…and still fall behind. If we do find a way to get ahead, we pay a high price for it by sacrificing time in God’s WORD, our family relationships or our health. While the figures in our bankbooks tell us we’re getting richer, in reality we’re becoming poorer. That’s the way the world’s economic system works. One way or another, there’s always sorrow with it because it’s under the curse.  As believers, however, we are no longer under that curse! Jesus has redeemed us from it. We don’t have to earn a living with our sweat and toil. THE BLESSING makes us rich. Unlike the world, we aren’t BLESSED because we’re rich, we are rich because we’re BLESSED!. SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....
