Dearly beloved, I am using this medium to appreciate you and yours, for your love and presence all through this fabulous year 2020, all though turbulent but it has been a tremendous year.  Despite all the trials and storms that came, you stood firm and unwavering, here we are today celebrating the end of the year together.  All the glory be to God alone, whom in spite of the venoms and assaults of "the wicked" kept us healthy, strong, alive and triumphant.   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: Ephesians 1:3 The "initial capital" that is required for a triumphant christian journey is spiritual blessings, which has already been made available to every believer by Christ Jesus in heavenly places. But for it to benefit you and I here on earth, it requires faith and patience as the primary ingredient for its delivery. Faith and Patience [Longsuffering], are fruits of the Spirit, they're not gifts of the Spirit, [Galatians 5:22-23] . They are fundamental requirement in the life of a believer. therefore, they need nurturing until maturity.  Hebrews 6:12 says,  "That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises."   Spiritual blessings was promised, and has been established for the believer by the blood of Jesus, but converting it to physical blessing (manifestation), we mus...

  Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 Today we mark the birth of Jesus Christ, the saviour of the world.  Jesus Christ is the reason for the season. John 6:38 AMPC This quote from Bishop David Abioye is very enlightening, He said, "they that walk, uses common sense; they that run, apply principles. But they that fly, fly by instruction." The Word of God is primarily a book of instructions, our personal opinion is irrelevant and inconsequential to God's instructions. Reading through the gospels, you see Jesus the Son of God himself apparently saying, His opinion was/is irrelevant to the desire, command, instruction and Will of His Father, God.  "And going a little farther, He threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire."  Matthew 26:39 AMPC, see also Mark 14:36, Luke 22:42. Like Jesus, we all ought to put our personal opinions and ideas...

Walking with spiritual persons doesn't put you into spiritual relaxation mode. More so, it should make you more spiritually alert, else it make you prone to every form of spiritual assault.  How you may ask? Once the said spiritual person is under severe attacks to conform; but somehow he is able to maintain his/her spiritual stance; the next target will be those around person to weaken the main target.  Jesus speaking from Luke 17:1-2 said,  "Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones." We saw an example in the person of Judas Iscariot how he betrayed Jesus Christ, his master.  The only way of escape is to be more spiritually alert than even your master if possible. So when the enemy comes knocking they will discover that you ain't available. Jes...

Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. [30] And their eyes were opened;...  Matthew 9:29-30. Permit me to paraphrase; "Then touched he their eyes [which is spiritual understanding]... "  You don't actually need someone else's faith to receive your healing, but yours. God healing power can flow to you through whomsoever HE desire to use; that's the quickened Word of His promises or Will [for you] to you.  This step activates your faith that produce the ability to receive the healing or miracles you need or desire.  The sent Word quickens our faith! So, focus on the Word of God, and receive your inheritance in Christ, Acts 20:32.   By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying [trying] to do were drowned. Hebrews 11:29 The things of God requires doing [action], and that's by faith. Once you are certain the instruction is from God. You may not have the natural ability to execute (in most cases you wouldn't have the natural ability to do any of God's instructions). God isn't counting on your natural ability, but His Word and hand to make good His promise to you. The Israelite had the Word of God that said to them go forward on foot, even though it was the Red sea that was right before them. They stepped out on that Word by faith, although it has never been recorded before, it seemed impossible and there isn't a way out, but obeyed did by faith. The Egyptians on the other hand didn't have any word from God. But thought within themselves, if the Israelites can do it, likewise we. So they TRIED, the end result was that they drowned.   But Jesus called them to him , and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. Mark 10:42-44 Across the political sphere and even in ministry; we see this trend. Leaders with the fear of God are committed to serving the people, going the extra mile to achieve results. Those that are otherwise, rules with rigour and exercise authority over the people. However, it is rather unfortunate to see that vast majority tend to turn towards those that lord it over them with iron fist. This has happened over and over again, and it still happening; you will see this trend, when you actually observe " people and systems ", you will get a glimpse of events.   Don't let your love for money [desires to be rich] be the motivating factor for your existence. You'd get some things done by it, but it's all with apprehension and greed.  Rather, strive for purpose, and the true riches will flow to you naturally, because the blessing of God rest upon individual that are purpose driven without struggles.  "The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it." These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. - Hebrews 11:13 This present life is a passage, we shouldn't be dismayed with the trials of life as people are faced with different kind of temptations.  Material possession isn't entirely the affirmation of our victory or defeat in the battles of life. Hence, the Word of God admonishes us not to compare ourselves with others 2 Corinthians 10:12. Because when we do, we become judgemental, the truth is that we have no idea of the areas of victories or defeats of either theirs or ours. "Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness,..." 1 Corinthians 4:5    So, as we pass through this life, we should understand that the battles of life varies; our victories in our areas of battle, will determine i...

  If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 1 John 4:20 It's a common phrase to say, "I love God". The truth remains, if you sincerely love God, you'd love your brethren also [people around you], not because you feel like it (most times they may not even deserve any act of kindness), but as an act of your will to love [in obedience to God's commandment], because God commanded it. More so, it's a medium through which those around you gets to experience God's love that is expressed through you. However, there is a trust issue. Love and trust are not the same. If someone have overtime proven themselves to be untrustworthy. You don't turn blind eyes on those shortcomings and expect everything to be alright; you will get your feelings hurt eventually when they betray your trust again. Even God, gives to everyone according to their capacity....

Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Revelation 3:11 There is a story of a man who had heard about possibility of the discovery crude-oil within the locality of his habitation, and had quite a property there too. So he employed men to embark for oil exploration expenditure within his property; after a long while they didn't discover anything. He became frustrated and sold the [seemed worthless] property to someone and left to continue his quest for a discovery in another region.  After a while he heard that oil had been found in the area he had left.  He was curious as to where crude oil was found. To his amazement, it was discover within his former property that he had sold. The person that bought the property became a very wealthy individual overnight, but he frustrated and broke. Life is a journey, not a destination. Do not give up before the time, the year is not over yet. Hold fast to what you have, lest others take your crow...

  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. - 2 Timothy 4:3-4.  Some persons go to a particular place of worship (church), because a friend, family member or colleague worship there. Should this be the case? Reason is that, our individual needs differs. If Jesus is your Lord, He ought to lead you to your place of worship and give you a teacher after His own heart. Also, it's important to note, there are different parts in the ministry though the same body; these comprises of the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers; different offices working for the development and growth of the believer.  Everybody needs to find out the ministry where they fit in and abide there.  The appearance of a Church building or proximity to a church, shouldn't be the determining fact...

  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. John 14:17 When you see people finding it difficult to recognize or acknowledge the truth in any sphere of life; this is mainly because they do not have the Spirit of truth indwell in them.  You can easily identify and recognize the truth in any situation and circumstances because you have the Spirit of Truth indwelling presence within you.  It is magnificent gift from God that everyone with such gift should forever be grateful to God for. Many do not have the Spirit of truth indwelling presence today, not because it is not available to them, but they've consciously rejected him by actions or words, and choose rather to hold on to infatuations and fables that appeals to their flesh [physical senses] than the things of God.   You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. Amos 3:2.  Ever wondered how come so and so did such and got away with it, but when you attempted it, you got cut and punished for it? There could be chances you are separated to God as a chosen vessel [not certainly, but likely]. "if yes" , as a result, you can't do what you like, only what is permitted. The society have drifted to the place where people don't talk about purpose anymore except their individualistic goals. Well, if you came from God, He already has a plan for you, it is suppose to be your primary assignment in life to discover it. Not to ignore it, in pursuit of your own self centered aspirations, it may not go down well. Some of the reasons you were probably rejected in certain areas in life is not because you aren't qualified, but because you're out of place.   For who hath despised the day of small things?...  Zechariah 4:10  Do not despise your days of little beginnings, how you manage it (business or profession) matter.  Manage it well it will grow big. Don't expect it to grow big before you will learn how to manage; that day may never come to light.  Be diligent, be steadfast.  With responsibility, here is a word of prophesy for you.  "Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase."  Job 8:7 Mark Enahoro

 It can be frustrating chasing birds up and down and yet catch nothing.  Why not get some grains and the birds will come to you on their own volition. Money have wings... 

  And the Lord said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade him. And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. - 1 Kings 22:20-22 God's Word is the truth; it may not appeal to your flesh, or sound like what you want to [or needed to] hear, but it remains the truth all the same. Prophecies that doesn't align with the truth of God's Word (Holy Bible) should be discarded.  The only reason any prophesy, dreams or revelations may appeal to an individual and yet it doesn't align with scripture is probably because they have ignored the truth for so long, that the spirit of deception is beginning to find expression towards misleading the indivi...

  If you reject the truth, what is there to believe? A lie! Believe it, God will allow it [ deception ].  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. - 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

  And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. John 8:45 The truth needs no redress, makeover nor makeup. It may be unattractive, but it's the way forward. Lies comes with different shades, and it maybe very colorful, appealing and attractive. But at the end, it bites and its effect can be irrecoverable [the end is death]. Choose the Truth. 

And the Lord said unto Jacob, Return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee. - Genesis 31:3 Most times, God will ask us to take certain steps; in reality those steps seem no-brainer to the natural mind. It may be impossible with man, not with God. You see, God ask Jacob to depart from his uncle Laban, who wouldn't let him go in the first place, and into a place where Esau his brother was waiting for him for evil, for he (Jacob) had cheated Esau by pretending to be Esau, received the blessing from Isaac their father. Now, Esau seek vengeance.  But once God had said "go", we should have the confidence that he had sorted things out, regardless of the circumstances surrounding the situation.  However, we must be certain God is the one leading. For God will put the fear and dread of you in them, that will make them settle or pay you any price to be at peace with them. However, this level comes with a close relationship and fellowship with God, not one leg in and one leg out. Money can make you comfortable while you are miserable. - Jesse Duplantis Without purpose one will be miserable in life even with money, no amount of money can change that.  Do you know why people engage in immoral vices when they have access to some form of wealth? It's because there is a void within them that crave attention, instead they try to suppress it by fulfilling the desires of their flesh.  They try to distract themselves from it, but it never really go away. Most time such individuals end up a victim, instead of victor. God want you rich, prosperous and blessed. But it begins with your soul (will, emotion and intellect) being transformed to know your purpose in life.  "... but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT, WILL OF GOD." Romans 12:2. Once you know and understand the perfect will of God for you, you'd be in control of everything around you including wealth, not the other way ...

So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. - Isaiah 59:19 The enemy's primary plan is to keep his evil intentions and plan hidden from men. He will cause you trouble to distract you from your purpose by giving you certain, unnecessary prayer points. That way he is able to keep you busy on trivial things, and from the very thing that really matter the most. I am not saying you shouldn't pray about certain challenges and conditions. What I am saying is that you should pray in faith about whatever challenge it may be, then focus more of your attention on your purpose.  Once you are able to identify and focus on your primary purpose, grace is released; with grace comes the presence of God.  You will agree with me that darkness cannot exist in the presence of light. Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! Luke 17:1 The enemy will do everything possible to offend; and frustrate a believer. Most times he will do it through individuals that are closer to his target; the enemy can use one's spouse, siblings, parents etc. It's important to note that the enemy (Satan) can only work through a heeded bodies.  Romans 12:1 admonish us to submit our bodies to God: now, if we do not submit to God volitionally, the enemy will creep in and manipulate you into using your body either consciously or unconsciously to offend mostly the believers, others can be victims of such act as well. But the main subject is the believers. Reasons? to frustrate and hinder them in any way possible. The Holy Bible records it that Jesus Christ said "Woe" to such individuals through whom the offense will come. Believe it, you don't want to be on the 'woe' side life against ...

"And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight."  - 1 John 3:22 While Jesus Christ was on the earth, He did the perfect 'will' of the Father, as a result, mighty works accompanied Him, all His prayers was answered and every request granted. The reason many people don't see results or answers to prayer is because of disobedience to God instructions through the Word of God or by His Holy Spirit. When a man walk in disobedience he automatically put off the light of the Word of God in him. In other words, drift into darkness. In Ephesians 6:12 the Bible informed us that there are "rulers of the darkness of the world"; they are very active. The Word of God ask us to wrestle with these powers and rulers of darkness through prayers, not run to them. The Holy Bible also instruct us to walk in the light as He is in the light. "Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin." - John 8:34 The question is whom are you serving? Romans 6:16 "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" "But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ." Ephesians 2:13 We were afar off because of sin(s): Sin disconnected us from the presence of God. But through the blood of Jesus Christ we that were disconnected from the Father God, are now made nigh (brought closer) to the Father.  It is the blood of Jesus Christ alone that is capable of washing away our sins. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: James 1:13 God put man (Adam) in the garden of Eden with instruction to subdue and have dominion over everything that in it; meaning he was in charge.  Out of the abundance God gave him, he still fell for the one piece God had instructed him against. You see, God is not the one that tempts, God already gave him instruction to follow. All he needed to do was, to be obedient. God does not tempt people with evil. However, He (God) will give instruction(s); we should trust Him enough to know that He want what is best for us all the time. It's insulting to question God's sincerity. That is the exact position Satan wants to put you. What has God said concerning you this year? It will be foolishness to question God because of the pandemic or certain turn of events around you. God knew everything that will happen. Yet, He gave you His Word before the situations and ...

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 2 Corinthians 4:3 The gospel is not hidden from everyone, only from those that are lost.  It is hidden for the redeemed; every believer ought to be able to access revelation from the Word of God. If you claim to be a Christian and can't access the revelation of the Word. It's either your spiritual tools are blunt that need sharpening or you'd need to examine yourself if you're in the faith. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings." Psalm 40:1-2 This month of "May", is a month of divine establishment for God's people. God will establish His people this month in various field and endeavors. Why? Because His Word says so, and He stands by His Word, He cannot deny Himself (Word). If you have asked Him, then He has brought you out of the miry clay and horrible pit. Now is the time to set your feet on a rock (Jesus), and establish His covenant with you, Deut. 8:18, Deut. 29:13. This month of May 2020, it is your time to be established with God forever. Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 1 Peter 4:4 The word "riot" have a footnote, 'dissipation' : it means the following. 1. A dissolute course of life, in which health, money, etc., are squandered in pursuit of pleasure; profuseness in immoral indulgence, as late hours, riotous living, etc.; dissoluteness. 2. A trifle which wastes time or distracts attention. 3. (physics) A loss of energy.  Now, the unsaved think it is strange that you don't indulge in the aforementioned with them? Isn't it strange? Unfortunately, many believers try to fit in, because they are afraid of persecution. Grow up! Persecution is part of the Christian life. You are chosen, called out of the world system. The world is not going to like you for that, that you are chosen. So they will speak evil of you, to try to shame you or make you feel worthless. You have to know who you are in Christ, and stand your gr...

In life there will always be conflicts. If it's coming from outside, you will stand and resist it, Satan knows that. So, he will use those close to you, in a very subtle way, where if you aren't sensitive in the spirit, you will fall for his manipulations. I will use examples in the scriptures to illustrate my point; Satan, used the serpent to get through to Eve; Eve, to Adam. The target has always been the head. But see the process, at which Satan accomplishes his aim. Another example, is between Simon Peter and Jesus Christ: obviously Simon loves Jesus, likewise, Jesus love Simon. But in Matthew 16:13-19, after Jesus had asked about, what people think about His personality; and the disciples gave the public opinion and theirs; it was Simon, by the Spirit of God, that answered correctly. Yet, just a couple of verse later, Matthew 16:21-23 to be precise. After Jesus had told them about the next phase of His ministry; Satan snicked in on Simon, and began to rebuke Jesus, ...

And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.  18. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. Malachi 3:15,18.  I have heard complaints from different quarters, people agonizing their stay at home, as they have run out of provision. But let's reflect on our life how we have being living our lives. On many occasion we have heard of cases where people were murdered in cold blood, they were probably the breadwinner in their family; how did you react to such cases? or missionaries that held captive by their captures, some murdered? Did these tragic and hideous acts pricked you? Did you take a moment to pray for these individuals? These are souls, being wasted, murdered in cold blood. These people had purpose in life, their destinies cut short, in circumstances that could have been prevented and avoided, but due t...

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. - Isaiah 28:9 God is limited to intervene in our life, by our unreadiness and unwillingness to grow spiritually; our physical life is a reflection of our spiritual life, money without spiritual authority is going to end bad, Psalm 92:7. The reason man grow naturally, is because the physical body demands food, as he eats, the body grows. The only way the spirit of man grow is by studying the Word of God, the Word of God is the food of the spirit of man. The spirit of many are malnourished, and are very weak. Based on the above text, it's very hard for God to get through to such individuals. It is time to get on the platform that enables God to get through to us. After the fall of man, nothing in earth was worthy to pay for the redemption of man. As everything, originally handled to man, is now within Satan's dominion, through spiritual transfer by Adam's transgression. God still have faith in man, that although fallen, there is still some good in man. Therefore, God sent His only begotten Son into the world, to take man's place in the fall, and pay the required price/sacrifice for man's redemption. This is what the Cross signify, this is what the stripes signify, this is what the blood signify, this what the death, burial and resurrection signify, but thanks be unto God, on the third day, God raised Jesus from the dead, and what's more?  His victory is credited to our (man's) account, like we did it. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. - Psalm 110:2. One the main reason for prayers, is for spiritual empowerment against Satan, and his forces. God isn't going to clear-off the enemies before the appointed time for their judgment; He didn't do it for Jesus, He's certainly not going to do it for anyone else. Instead, if you are interested, He will empower you to rule inspite of the enemies all around you. In Psalm 23:5 King David speaking said, God prepares a table before him in the presence of his enemies, He also anoint his head with oil (oil, represents empowerment) in overflowing measure. He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. - Matthew 26:42 Our ambition may look very good and somewhat impactful, yet outside of God's will, it will fail miserably in the end. From the above text, Jesus could've said, I'm doing such a great job, healing the sick, raising dead back to life, feeding the hungry etc., as such, there is no need going to the cross; that process is too difficult and demeaning. You will reckon, he will grow old eventually, and die one day, right? And it would've put a halt to everything he has done (personal ambition). God knows the end from the beginning, we'd be doing ourselves good when we seek out God's plan, and apply ourselves to it, no matter how difficult it seemed. Sad but true to note that people are more concern about what others think about their actions or in-action, they are concern about people view point about them, that they neglect the God factor in their decisions. Many do not care if their action and decisions go crosswise against God’s commandment. We should be concerned about God stance in our action and decisions. Because at the end, He is the Judge of all. Men can only judge base on limited available evidence, which can be manipulated in most cases. For example: When you see something or someone in an abnormal state, the best thing to do is to intercede for them on their behalf.
