BEWARE OF OFFENSE

Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
Luke 17:1

The enemy will do everything possible to offend; and frustrate a believer. Most times he will do it through individuals that are closer to his target; the enemy can use one's spouse, siblings, parents etc.
It's important to note that the enemy (Satan) can only work through a heeded bodies.
Romans 12:1 admonish us to submit our bodies to God: now, if we do not submit to God volitionally, the enemy will creep in and manipulate you into using your body either consciously or unconsciously to offend mostly the believers, others can be victims of such act as well. But the main subject is the believers. Reasons? to frustrate and hinder them in any way possible.
The Holy Bible records it that Jesus Christ said "Woe" to such individuals through whom the offense will come. Believe it, you don't want to be on the 'woe' side life against God.
Verse 2 of the above text says,
It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

The believer need to understand this, in other to enjoy the fullest of the blessing of God, one have to live above offense in this age and time.
HAPPY NEW MONTH!

Jesus is Lord!

SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....

SPIRITUAL KNOWING

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. Acts 13:45 In life you will face some vicious attacks from people, their reasons may seem reasonable to many [natural minds]; but their real intent, concealed. From the above text, observe the real reason the Jews were contradicting what the Apostles had said. When they saw the multitudes, they became envious. But they wouldn't come out to show their real intent; but will work up something else as the main reason.  This is why as a Christian, you can't allow yourself to be limited by the things you see, hear or feel, because they can be deceptive. The Holy Spirit is the revealer of truth, let Him guide you into all truth.  "For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy." Mark 15:10 Go beyond the physical, and sense realm. Go spiritual [there's a spiritual knowing].  Jesus is Lord!  Mark Enah...

BE RESOLUTE

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. John 6:38 If you need to, you may; examine yourself and see, can the above statement be true of you or about you? Because in life you will face obstacles and challenges that will press and push you to extreme limit or out of measure to a breaking point [in despair of life, according to Apostle Paul]. These things happens in other to make you change course; but stand thou resolute.  Jesus said, persecutions will arise for the Word sake.  In Matthew 26:39, Jesus was praying "... O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." While on the cross, Jesus cried out, "... My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"  Well..., the Father didn't go anywhere, but the heat of the situation(s) make it look that way.  Enroute the promise land, there are a lot of obstacles; there is nothing easy about it. Sure the Devil makes it d...
