Intercede Instead

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

- James 5:14

It's amazing to see how people are quick to criticize, and pass judgment on others, when the Bible says, 'judge nothing before the time'.
For example: When you see something or someone in an abnormal state, the best thing to do is to intercede for them on their behalf. Because some of them may not even realize that they are under the oppression and influence of the devil.
The ones that realizes the manipulation of the devil, might quickly call for prayers, but the devil have a way of hiding himself from the troubles people go through.

Through intercession, the devil's antics will be revealed to the individual and for those around him/her to realize on-time that this is an affliction of the devil, and to react against it in a proper way.
Some illness people take medicine for are purely spiritual, there is no way medication can work for spiritual affliction, which is the situation in most cases.
The thing is, every believer is called into the ministry of intercession, it is not limited to certain individual or ministry office. You can get started today, the reward is immeasurable.
James 5:15 says,
"And the prayer of faith shall save the sick(afflicted), and the Lord shall raise him up(from his/her affliction); and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."

Jesus is Lord!

Choose To Forgive

"And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors... For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:" Matt. 6:12;14. The Scripture admonish us to forgive not just debts, offenses, etc. In Isa. 43:25 God had to forgave us for His own sake, meaning each time we have unforgiveness in our heart, it limit the flow of the anointing which is the power of God at work in us. Many think they are perfect, but non is perfect and sinless before God, except by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, which is by grace. 1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." it does not matter the personality, not even Peter, James and John could claim righteousness without Jesus Christ and the blood. So we don't have examples to pattern after except Jesus Christ, He is the RIGHTEOUS (1John 2:1). We must be mindful, man will always want to make himself the pattern for others to follow after, like ...

The Needful or Obvious Pt.1

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. - Luke 10:41-42. Nobody just happened, we are created for specific purpose. Everybody cannot be head, or leg, or hand etc., each and everyone most identify their place and stay there, thus makeup the body system. The leg cannot say the hand is not performing its functions adequately, as a result, he will take its functions over. The leg would be led by the obvious and abuse its own purpose instead, why? He was not created to perform the function of the hand. When these things are properly understood, it will help us to gain speed towards the fulfillment of our purpose. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue. When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure. When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....
