THE BLESSING

 



Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Ephesians 1:3


The "initial capital" that is required for a triumphant christian journey is spiritual blessings, which has already been made available to every believer by Christ Jesus in heavenly places. But for it to benefit you and I here on earth, it requires faith and patience as the primary ingredient for its delivery.


Faith and Patience [Longsuffering], are fruits of the Spirit, they're not gifts of the Spirit, [Galatians 5:22-23]. They are fundamental requirement in the life of a believer. therefore, they need nurturing until maturity. 


Hebrews 6:12 says, 

"That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises." 


Spiritual blessings was promised, and has been established for the believer by the blood of Jesus, but converting it to physical blessing (manifestation), we must continue to exercise our faith and patience because it's God's will [desire] for the redeemed. As this blessing makes rich [true riches] and adds no sorrow with it, Proverbs 10:22. 


Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58.

Choose To Forgive

"And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors... For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:" Matt. 6:12;14. The Scripture admonish us to forgive not just debts, offenses, etc. In Isa. 43:25 God had to forgave us for His own sake, meaning each time we have unforgiveness in our heart, it limit the flow of the anointing which is the power of God at work in us. Many think they are perfect, but non is perfect and sinless before God, except by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, which is by grace. 1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." it does not matter the personality, not even Peter, James and John could claim righteousness without Jesus Christ and the blood. So we don't have examples to pattern after except Jesus Christ, He is the RIGHTEOUS (1John 2:1).
