Instructed To Greatness

Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him , being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Titus 1:15-16

You will reckon that this scripture is not referring to unbelievers, but to believers.
There are people who go to church everyday, yet disobedient to God's instruction, they rather hold-on to the traditions and doctrine of men. For example the scripture says, we shouldn't worry, rather cast it all over on Him(God), for he care for us, 1 Peter 5:7.
Why is He telling us not to worry, when he knows, we have bills piled-up, and it looks like everything is going to fall apart any moment soon?
Some of the reason is that, worrying never change anything, rather it will make things worse. Worrying will make one's health to deteriorate and it will distract a person from the key/primary problem that we ought to focus on; while the real problem remain unattended. This is intended to distract us from discovering and fulfilling one's purpose.

We can't ask God to take part of the cares and we will take some, No! He said, "cast it all, on him". All means ALL, and it is a command, so our opinion and suggestions are irrelevant, you either do it, or you don't.
We know that when a person disobey God's commandment, there will be consequences. Not that God want to punish or destroy the disobedient, it simply means you have authorize the enemy to work against you, and the enemy will; you can bet on that.
God knows we have needs, and all those needs will be met, if we focus on our primary assignment/purpose first, every other thing will be added, Matthew 6:33.
Once we realize the root of the problem and address it the way it should be addressed. All the problem and its branches will just evaporate before our very eyes. So you can live and enjoy the blessed life God originally intended.

I pray God give to you an understanding heart to see the key problem you are confronted with and how to address it, in Jesus name!

Jesus is Lord!

Press In

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.... – Colossians 3:16 Things in this old world aren't getting any better, and in recent times, the Holy Spirit has been speaking an urgent message to my heart. He's been saying, Press in. Draw in to a more intimate relationship with your heavenly Father. If you don't, you won't make it. If you do, you will see more glorious outpourings of God than you can imagine. That message isn't just for me. It's also for you—and for every other believer on the earth today. We are in the last of the last days of this age. Jesus is coming soon. It's an exciting time, but it's also a dangerous time. Those who don't do what the Spirit says, who don't press in to the Lord, are going to go from disaster to disaster. But those who do will defeat the disasters and turn them into glory, in Jesus' Name! Your first step in drawing closer to God is to realize that you know God first in His Word. Time spent meditating i...

SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....

BE RESOLUTE

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. John 6:38 If you need to, you may; examine yourself and see, can the above statement be true of you or about you? Because in life you will face obstacles and challenges that will press and push you to extreme limit or out of measure to a breaking point [in despair of life, according to Apostle Paul]. These things happens in other to make you change course; but stand thou resolute.  Jesus said, persecutions will arise for the Word sake.  In Matthew 26:39, Jesus was praying "... O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." While on the cross, Jesus cried out, "... My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"  Well..., the Father didn't go anywhere, but the heat of the situation(s) make it look that way.  Enroute the promise land, there are a lot of obstacles; there is nothing easy about it. Sure the Devil makes it d...
