Where's Your Treasure?

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." - Matthew 6:21

Where is your treasure, in insurance/financial institutions, organizations etc. Or where?
Jesus speaking said in Matthew 6:19-20 "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:"
There is no safety or guarantee in this world, not in financial institutions nor in conglomerates, they are only a holding place, not assurance.
In Proverbs 19:17 it says "He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again." this is one medium of transferring your physical substance from physical to spiritual. If all you have is stored in banks and the likes; then, your hope and faith is on them. This gives reason why many commit suicide when things go wrong.
Relating to Proverbs 19:17, in Hebrews 7:8 it says "And here men that die receive tithes(we can say givings as well); but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth." persons have to receive from you here, but spiritually, there's a transfer. See also in Mark 10:17-20, when someone came to Jesus to make an enquiry; in verse 21 Jesus said to him "... go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven:..." this doesn't mean he will go broke, it meant he is currently spiritually bankrupt and that he will no longer depend on his bank account, but on the living God. Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." or else, his bank will be his Phil. 4:19, and if anything happen, that's it.
By obeying the instructions in the Word of God, we enforce Mark 10:30 in our life, "... in this time(now),....and in the world to come eternal life."

Remain blessed and have a fruitful week.

Press In

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.... – Colossians 3:16 Things in this old world aren't getting any better, and in recent times, the Holy Spirit has been speaking an urgent message to my heart. He's been saying, Press in. Draw in to a more intimate relationship with your heavenly Father. If you don't, you won't make it. If you do, you will see more glorious outpourings of God than you can imagine. That message isn't just for me. It's also for you—and for every other believer on the earth today. We are in the last of the last days of this age. Jesus is coming soon. It's an exciting time, but it's also a dangerous time. Those who don't do what the Spirit says, who don't press in to the Lord, are going to go from disaster to disaster. But those who do will defeat the disasters and turn them into glory, in Jesus' Name! Your first step in drawing closer to God is to realize that you know God first in His Word. Time spent meditating i...
In the world(unsaved) system, we work harder…and harder…and still fall behind. If we do find a way to get ahead, we pay a high price for it by sacrificing time in God’s WORD, our family relationships or our health. While the figures in our bankbooks tell us we’re getting richer, in reality we’re becoming poorer. That’s the way the world’s economic system works. One way or another, there’s always sorrow with it because it’s under the curse.  As believers, however, we are no longer under that curse! Jesus has redeemed us from it. We don’t have to earn a living with our sweat and toil. THE BLESSING makes us rich. Unlike the world, we aren’t BLESSED because we’re rich, we are rich because we’re BLESSED!. SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....
