The Effect Of the Word

And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. [30] But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
- Matthew 14:29-30.

Putting our eyes and ears on the Word of God is the only surety of overcoming life storms.

When Jesus asked Peter to come, as long as Peter's eyes were fixed on Him(the word), he walked over life troubles(water). But, as soon as he was distracted and turn to the overwhelming troubles of life(boisterous wind) he began to sink.

Do not take your eyes away from the word. Situations will put pressure on you, to draw you away from the word. If you adhere, you will sink. Mark 4:17 put it this way,
...persecution ariseth for the word's sake,...
Why? I other for you to sink. Hold on to the word(Jesus), he's the only way of escape in this life.

Be blessed!

The Needful or Obvious Pt.1

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. - Luke 10:41-42. Nobody just happened, we are created for specific purpose. Everybody cannot be head, or leg, or hand etc., each and everyone most identify their place and stay there, thus makeup the body system. The leg cannot say the hand is not performing its functions adequately, as a result, he will take its functions over. The leg would be led by the obvious and abuse its own purpose instead, why? He was not created to perform the function of the hand. When these things are properly understood, it will help us to gain speed towards the fulfillment of our purpose. Everyone will give account of his or her stewardship, when the time comes, what will be your report, when all that you have been doing is the obvious(somebody else's assignment), and ignoring yours or ...

He Is Risen!

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1 Why seek the living among the dead? He is no longer in the grave, He is risen! Hallelujah!!! Jesus triumph over Satan, and handled you and me the victory, like we did it. Are you in Christ Jesus? You're no longer numbered with the dead. You're now alive and separated unto God in Him. Jesus did it just for you, therefore let no condemnation temper with your joy. Jesus is Lord!
