When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
~ Matthew 12:43.
At a very tender age, person's may house some form of unclean/evil spirit; through deliberate association or ignorantly initiated or by manipulation. These spirits can be discerned by their pattern of operations in the life of the individual(s) they occupy.
These spirit entered into person's, in their moment of vulnerability, they(the spirits) go about seeking a body to operate through. When a person say or do things under pressure by some kind of unseen force, that is usually the moment of entrance, when the individual succumb to their pressure.
At new birth however, the unclean spirit(s) are driven or cast out. However, the individual must keep them out by constantly feeding on the Word of God (Holy Bible) and through prayers, Jude 1:20.
Romans 12:1-2 says,
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." You are expected to present your body to God, if you don't want to be overwhelmed by demons. Through constant study of the word {Joshua 1:8, Romans 12:2} and prayers {Jude 1:20}, we keep the light active within us, so that darkness have no place.
There is no neutral ground, you are either lighted or darkness ridden. The absence of one, automatically makes room for the other.
"... we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us," Hebrew 12:1.
There are spirit monitoring our activities, either they are done in the secret or openly.
They must be resisted by faith in the name of Jesus Christ. James 4:7 also says,
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." we have to fill our heart with Godly thoughts, positive conversations and the likes; our actions, are products of our thoughts.
When we are overtaken by Godly thought, then the Spirit of God abide within us. This is good!
Jesus is Lord!
