Word Led



God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Hebrews 1:1-2

The word of God is very clear on the above subject, yet many still look for prophets that will tell them the next phase of their life.
Yes, prophetic ministry still exist today, mostly they speak to confirm what God has already revealed or shown an individual, either through the word (Holy Bible) or through anointed teaching in meetings; not targeted at the person, but within the individual, there is a strong signal that certain words is being spoken to you, it quicken your spirit and its spark something within, like you need to respond or act to those certain words because they are pointers or indicator.
So when a prophet speaks without fore knowledge of your previous encounter(s), it "maybe" a confirmation that you need to respond.

We receive instructions on what to do partime, by the help of the Holy Spirit within our spirit or through the word (Holy Bible), or through anointed teaching from the five fold ministry gifts; Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher.
God speaks to us through these means and confirm them through the Word or any of the above ministry gift, in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word is established, 2 Corinthians 13:1.

Mind you the words spoken must be proved with the word of God.
Philippians 4:8 says,
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

God's word always comes with cheer, peace and joy, no matter what has happened or is happening; anytime and any day. You need to know within yourself, when sharp u-turn is paramount if you most be saved from impending danger; that's when you are off-course. God leads us by His Spirit, Romans 8:14.

The prophetic ministry are real and still exist, but they must be proved. Once it's confirmed, then we must respond swiftly to the instruction(s), 1 John 4:1 says, 
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

"if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....

PROSPER

 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2. The mind consist of one's will, intellect and emotions; which is the soul of man. At salvation the spirit of man; which is also referred to as the heart gets quickened or made alive (But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible,... ) 1 Peter 3:4  The heart is saved, the soul is not. You [we] have a duty to save our soul; and it has to be done through studying the word and meditating upon the word, that's when the transformation of mind/soul begins. Romans 12:2  "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your MIND, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." As you spend more time in the Word of God; like a mirror you beginning to see your true identity from it. This is the reason we are admonished to study the Word of God. BE WISE.

  Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:17 God, at different times and in so many ways have tried and still trying to let us know what His will for us is (He never gives up on us) . Same way the devil is endeavouring to distract us from God's purpose for our life through various medium. There is a saying, when purpose of a thing is not known, the abuse of the thing is certain. Using a toddler for an example. He/she have no clue what a remote control to a television is, if they found one. They can drop it a bowl of water if available, and still feels happy about it; simply because they have no idea what it is meant for. But as they grow up their perspective change. Same way, God want us to grow to understand our purpose and His plans for our lives.
