Overcome All

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

- Psalm 34:19.

Living a godly life style will always attract afflictions and persecutions in this world, because Satan is the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), the redeemed are not of this world (1John 4:4), but of God and are ambassadors of Christ, here in this world.

2 Timothy 3:12 says,
"Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."
Where? Here in this world. The godly will suffer rejection.
But Jesus speaking in John 16:33 says,
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

The main text says, "... the Lord delivereth him out of all afflictions" when we remove "all" out of anything, what we have left is nothing. So when afflictions, persecution, tribulation etc., is taken out, it means we only have good things left, since the negative ones are out of the way, right?
Many people are afraid of the afflictions, persecution or the tribulation. Due to fear, they have form league with the devil (the god of this world), some intentionally, others ignorantly, to enable them live a life of pleasure (deceitfulness of riches) for a season, then die miserably, afterward face condemnation.

But, Matthew 10:28 says,
"... fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

Man is a free moral agent; the choice is absolutely yours to make; light afflictions which is but for a moment, and is overcome-able here and now (true riches is only found in Christ), and in the world to come you have life everlasting (Mark 10:30)., or the pleasure of sin for a season, and afterwards condemnation to hell.

To the redeemed; Power, Riches, Wisdom, Strength, Honour, Glory and Blessing are available here and now (Revelation 5:12).

Jesus is Lord!

Press In

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.... – Colossians 3:16 Things in this old world aren't getting any better, and in recent times, the Holy Spirit has been speaking an urgent message to my heart. He's been saying, Press in. Draw in to a more intimate relationship with your heavenly Father. If you don't, you won't make it. If you do, you will see more glorious outpourings of God than you can imagine. That message isn't just for me. It's also for you—and for every other believer on the earth today. We are in the last of the last days of this age. Jesus is coming soon. It's an exciting time, but it's also a dangerous time. Those who don't do what the Spirit says, who don't press in to the Lord, are going to go from disaster to disaster. But those who do will defeat the disasters and turn them into glory, in Jesus' Name! Your first step in drawing closer to God is to realize that you know God first in His Word. Time spent meditating i...

The Needful or Obvious Pt.1

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. - Luke 10:41-42. Nobody just happened, we are created for specific purpose. Everybody cannot be head, or leg, or hand etc., each and everyone most identify their place and stay there, thus makeup the body system. The leg cannot say the hand is not performing its functions adequately, as a result, he will take its functions over. The leg would be led by the obvious and abuse its own purpose instead, why? He was not created to perform the function of the hand. When these things are properly understood, it will help us to gain speed towards the fulfillment of our purpose. Everyone will give account of his or her stewardship, when the time comes, what will be your report, when all that you have been doing is the obvious(somebody else's assignment), and ignoring yours or ...
