Confidence In Him.

The Lord isn’t slow to do what he promised, as some people think. Rather, he is patient for your sake. He doesn’t want to destroy anyone but wants all people to have an opportunity to turn to him and change the way they think and act.
2 Peter 3:9 GW

Far too many people pride themselves and build their confidence around their career and the wealth it brings.
There is nothing wrong with that, in itself. But, without God, everything is wrong with it.
Everyone enjoy the success it brings until, there arise some storms or troubles of life, in most cases, it is health related or life threatening issues. Then it's like the wealth and fame just evaporate before their very eyes.
We don't need to look too far and long to notice some prominent names of yesterday, who are now shadows of themselves today.
Many have sought for themselves other means of protection outside God, unfortunately it always ends in error and tragedy.
Light will always rule over darkness anytime, anyday and anywhere.
Jesus speaking in John 9:5 said,
"As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." meaning, to the extent you permit me in your life, I will be your light, your guide, your protection; otherwise, you will be in complete darkness.
"... If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!" Matthew 6:23.

Our confidence should be on God, not on our achievements and wealth; that way His Light can shine on our life with His divine protection that guarantees lifetime relevance, now in this life and in the world to come.

Without God, one it is like sitting on a timed explosive, when it goes off, the legacy and impact of such individual will just disappear (completely forgotten), like they never existed.
What will it profit a man to gain the world and looses his soul? Mark 8:36.
Jesus is the only way to all round rest and success in life, career, profession or business.
Build your confidence on Him today, and be at rest.

(Psalm 73:3;17)
For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. [7] When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
(Psalm 92:6-7)

Enjoy the blessed life, Jesus is Lord!

SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....

BE RESOLUTE

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. John 6:38 If you need to, you may; examine yourself and see, can the above statement be true of you or about you? Because in life you will face obstacles and challenges that will press and push you to extreme limit or out of measure to a breaking point [in despair of life, according to Apostle Paul]. These things happens in other to make you change course; but stand thou resolute.  Jesus said, persecutions will arise for the Word sake.  In Matthew 26:39, Jesus was praying "... O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." While on the cross, Jesus cried out, "... My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"  Well..., the Father didn't go anywhere, but the heat of the situation(s) make it look that way.  Enroute the promise land, there are a lot of obstacles; there is nothing easy about it. Sure the Devil makes it d...

Extremely Blessed!

A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth. – Proverbs 17:8 If I could give you a gift this Christmas, the Word is what I'd give you. I'd rather give it to you than a check for a million dollars. Because you can run through a million dollars real quick, but the truth of God's Word never quits—and it will get you out of situations a million dollars can't get you out of. Ken and I are just ordinary people. But when we latched on to God's Word, we latched on to something out of the ordinary, something that changed our lives. Every area of our lives. Nothing that's happened to us has happened because of us. It's happened because of God's Word. In fact, I don't even have to know you to promise you this: If you'll give God's Word your full attention—and not be afraid of His will for your life—you're going to be happier and more prosperous than anything you could ever dream up. O...
