Power Of Will

Man have between now and the judgment day to do what he will's, positive or negative. However, to go the positive way, you will face some resistance, but God have made you a world overcomer. If you want God's intervention, don't just wait for Him to intervene without your asking, to wait is to waste. God gave man the right to make choices 'FREE WILL'. More often than not, we expect God to intervene without asking Him. On whose authority is He going to act? Remember, God created the world and gave man dominion and authority to subdue it, Genesis 1:28. He did not include Himself in the process, if we need His help, we ought to ask Him. If He act without our asking, He will be violating His own law, God will never do that! Lets look at this illustration from the Holy Bible, the book of Acts of the Apostles chapter 12 . From verse 1-3. Herod the king, killed James the brother of John. seeing, it pleased the Jews, he went further to apprehend Peter, with the i...

A Child or A Son?

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: - Romans 8:16 At new birth, our spirit is quickened or made alive. This( spirit ) died in man, when Adam sinned in the garden of Eden. God told Adam the day you eat of the tree, you shalt surely die. Genesis 2:17. So, it was the spirit of Adam that died, when he sinned by disobedient. I have heard people say, 'but he( Adam ) didn't die as God had said' yes, he did! Through Christ Jesus, the spirit that was dead to the things of God is quickened back. Now the Spirit of God is bearing witness with our spirit, that we are no longer under the authority and kingdom of Satan, due to man's fall. But, we have been translated into the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ sacrifice on the cross, and that we are now children of God. Being a child of God is good, but there is more for us. There is a purpose for which we were created. We can only know why, understand why and be guided, and...

Wake up, Manifest!

The prayer is scriptural, no matter how direct it seemed. It means wake up! Romans 8:19 says, "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God." When are the sons of God expected to manifest? If they continue sleeping, or their helpers are sleeping, it would never happen(to manifest). In the case of Queen Esther, in the book of Esther in the Holy Bible, she and the entire Jews within the provinces, proclaimed and went on a three days fast, to change the event of sudden evil, determined against them, Esther 4:15-17.  If they had been sleeping, they would have been wiped out. But by their engagement on spiritual warfare, in Esther 6:1-3, the scripture says, "ON THAT NIGHT COULD NOT THE KING SLEEP, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. [2] And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's chamberlains, the keeper...

Remember God's Place

But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. 2 Samuel 7:15. This promise is in response to King David from God, when he made an enquiry about building a house for the Ark of God. He loved God and was desperate to please God in anyway possible. Verse 2 said, 2 Samuel 7:2,  "That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains." To King David this wasn't right, and he wants it changed. However, God told him, that his son would, and not him, but he pleased God, that he had it in his heart; and got blessed for that. Even today, David is a household name. Haggai 1:4 says,  "Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?" which house? The house of God, the Church! How comfortable are you when you see certain things out of place or not the way it should be, and do not portrait the right image, as ...

Rebuke?

For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. - Proverbs 3:12. When a father loves a child, he will always rebuke him/her eg., do this, don't do that etc,. To the child and others around that aren't sensitive, will assume, he is just being mean to the child. I know some take things to the extreme. But, the truth is, he want the best from and for the child. In the lives of the Israelite for example, when they were very close to God, He still rebuke them, sometimes it can result to lost of live(s), as the case may be, that is, when someone transgress. When He is not pleased with their activities at all, after several rebuke, another nation will just evade Israel, kill, take them captive and take away their spoils. But, ones they repent, He is found in them and restore them back. Child! If your father claim to love you and does not rebuke you, you should be afraid of that father. Seriously, you should be concern. No matter how obe...
