Remember Reverence

Jesus said, “Were not ten healed? Where are the nine? Can none be found to come back and give glory to God except this outsider?” Then he said to him, “Get up. On your way. Your faith has healed and saved you.”
- Luke 17:17‭-‬19 MSG

Ten lepers came to Jesus to ask for mercy so they can be healed, Jesus inturn asked them to go show themselves to the priests.
Normally, lepers only go to show themselves to the priests when they are healed of the plague, so they {the lepers} can be welcome back into the society.
When Jesus asked them to go show themselves to the priests, their situation was not in any form better than it has always been. Yet, they obeyed the instruction by faith, and as they went, they were cleansed.
However, as they went one noticed that he was healed of the leprous situation, and could not hold back his gratitude {he must have suffered untold humiliation as a result of the affliction more than the others}, he turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God that have smiled down at him. He was a Samaritan, he did not hold anything back, because to him this is pure grace at work in his life, not an entitlement. The others however, I perceived, were Jews, who did not deem it fit to return to thank God. If they had, the Bible would have recorded it! They probably thought it was an entitlement. That can only explain their ingratitude.
This is one of the reason for less or no-flow of the anointing today, many have gotten too familiar with the environment and the anointed vessels, that they fail to acknowledge God in/on them.

The one that came back to show reverence, acknowledgement and glorified God, was not only healed of his leprosy, but got saved as well.

Thanksgiving is a major key to unlocking more of God's blessing upon our lives.

Do have a blessed week filled with gratitude and appreciation, as you unlock more of God's blessing upon your life. Stay blessed!

Jesus is Lord!

SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....

BE RESOLUTE

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. John 6:38 If you need to, you may; examine yourself and see, can the above statement be true of you or about you? Because in life you will face obstacles and challenges that will press and push you to extreme limit or out of measure to a breaking point [in despair of life, according to Apostle Paul]. These things happens in other to make you change course; but stand thou resolute.  Jesus said, persecutions will arise for the Word sake.  In Matthew 26:39, Jesus was praying "... O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." While on the cross, Jesus cried out, "... My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"  Well..., the Father didn't go anywhere, but the heat of the situation(s) make it look that way.  Enroute the promise land, there are a lot of obstacles; there is nothing easy about it. Sure the Devil makes it d...

Extremely Blessed!

A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth. – Proverbs 17:8 If I could give you a gift this Christmas, the Word is what I'd give you. I'd rather give it to you than a check for a million dollars. Because you can run through a million dollars real quick, but the truth of God's Word never quits—and it will get you out of situations a million dollars can't get you out of. Ken and I are just ordinary people. But when we latched on to God's Word, we latched on to something out of the ordinary, something that changed our lives. Every area of our lives. Nothing that's happened to us has happened because of us. It's happened because of God's Word. In fact, I don't even have to know you to promise you this: If you'll give God's Word your full attention—and not be afraid of His will for your life—you're going to be happier and more prosperous than anything you could ever dream up. O...
