Unfailing Words

At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
- Jeremiah 18:7-8.

God sent Jonah to Nineveh saying, repent from your evil, else destruction is looming. The King quickly declare a fast and they were preserved, when they repented or responded to the message.
But, what do you think the impenitent minds among them thought about the development when the 40days time frame came and passed, and nothing seemed to have happened? This is one of those fake prophet! Right?!
Would they have been spared had they not fasted and repented sincerely? The answer is no!
For fact this is one of the reason Jonah was unwilling to go deliver the message he was sent in the first place, he knew when the message is delivered and the people repented, God would spare them. If this happened, the people will not respect him or take him serious anymore. He wanted something to happen, so the people will know that he indeed was sent by God and a real prophet, Jonah 4:5. But, God cannot be moved by man or people's opinion, there is just one way to find out if it's from God or not; just don't respond to the message.

Most times people want to learn from their own experiences, this is too dangerous and maybe too costly to attempt, rather learn from others. I believe the King of Nineveh remembered what happened in Sodom and Gomorrah.
In some cases it may be the last and no more opportunity to make amend.

God loves us and have put in place everything we need to guide us through life. Ignoring His guiding principles, most times to our detriment.
He speaks to us through the Holy Bible and through many other ways that we can understand. We must ignore his rebuke, because He is not going to force anyone, Revelation 3:20,
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."

I sincerely believe this is for someone today, stay blessed and experience God goodness. Have a fruitful week!

Jesus is Lord!

Press In

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.... – Colossians 3:16 Things in this old world aren't getting any better, and in recent times, the Holy Spirit has been speaking an urgent message to my heart. He's been saying, Press in. Draw in to a more intimate relationship with your heavenly Father. If you don't, you won't make it. If you do, you will see more glorious outpourings of God than you can imagine. That message isn't just for me. It's also for you—and for every other believer on the earth today. We are in the last of the last days of this age. Jesus is coming soon. It's an exciting time, but it's also a dangerous time. Those who don't do what the Spirit says, who don't press in to the Lord, are going to go from disaster to disaster. But those who do will defeat the disasters and turn them into glory, in Jesus' Name! Your first step in drawing closer to God is to realize that you know God first in His Word. Time spent meditating i...
In the world(unsaved) system, we work harder…and harder…and still fall behind. If we do find a way to get ahead, we pay a high price for it by sacrificing time in God’s WORD, our family relationships or our health. While the figures in our bankbooks tell us we’re getting richer, in reality we’re becoming poorer. That’s the way the world’s economic system works. One way or another, there’s always sorrow with it because it’s under the curse.  As believers, however, we are no longer under that curse! Jesus has redeemed us from it. We don’t have to earn a living with our sweat and toil. THE BLESSING makes us rich. Unlike the world, we aren’t BLESSED because we’re rich, we are rich because we’re BLESSED!. SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....
