Place of Priesthood.


Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the Lord.
- 2 Chronicles 31:4.

The priests are God's representatives on the earth, God's portion belongs to them, in forms of tithes and offering as we see in verse 5, "and as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the first fruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly."

 These encourages the Priest to focus only on God assignment, to mediate and to know God's plan and purpose and also for enforcing same.

What happens when the priests are discouraged? In Nehemiah 13:10 the scripture says,
"And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them : for the Levites and the singers, that did the work, were fled every one to his field."
So, when they are not encouraged, the Levite's and Priests sort out means for themselves. This then means that the work of God is suddenly set aside or left unattended to, because the Priests and Levites have fled to the field to sort out their own needs (this by no way means covetousness).

The enemy is bent on this tricks; so the Priest and Levites abandons their office or place of assignment, thereby creating room the enemy(Devil) to attack God's people.
This is a pointer to why there's so much attack on the subject of tithe and offering, to discourage the Priests and the Levites.

I know that some will say the office of the Priest is done away with. In Ephesians 4:11-12 the Bible says
"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:"
The office of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers of the Word, represent the office of Priesthood and are still very relevant today, and Jesus Christ being the High Priest forever.

Obviously there are fake Priests. But the reason for fake, is because there are genuine ones. We must allow the Holy Spirit lead us to our own God ordained Priest at every giving time so we don't fall victim in the hand of false prophets or anti-christs, thereby giving access for the devil and his agents to afflict us.

There are medium to protect and sustain the blessing of God upon our life, we can only access them by the help of the Holy Spirit.

Always remember the Devil will always try to negotiate you out of your place of protection and rest, so he can afflict you. If you heed, you become a victim.

My prayer for you is that you shall not fall for his traps, and that God will continues to protect you from evil, in Jesus name!

The Needful or Obvious Pt.1

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. - Luke 10:41-42. Nobody just happened, we are created for specific purpose. Everybody cannot be head, or leg, or hand etc., each and everyone most identify their place and stay there, thus makeup the body system. The leg cannot say the hand is not performing its functions adequately, as a result, he will take its functions over. The leg would be led by the obvious and abuse its own purpose instead, why? SETTLED SOUL

  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....
