Sign Seekers

"They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?" - John 6:30.

Many are misled not so much because of fake churches, but because of laziness, pleasures and lust.
The professors of the law in Jesus days didn't know either; I mean the high and mighty ones, but few sensed something but couldn't say much to convince the others, why? They are not very influential among them.
Every believer have Jos. 1:8 in their Holy Bible as a guide in this life. Unfortunately many are seeking other means outside the Word of God for guidance.
In John 1:32-34 "And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God."
John the Baptist didn't confirm that Jesus is the Christ because they were cousin, neither because of any miracle or mighty works that he did, no!
He simply confirm Jesus is the Christ, base on personal encounter in his own life and ministry. I mean he could have baptized Jesus Christ like every other person without knowing he is the Christ. Yet, Jesus would have fulfilled his ministry. I believe he desired to "know him" so, when it was time, it was shown him things to watch out for.

Most times the Spirit of God leads and reveal things to us "foretelling" what is about to occur through personal study and if we are sensitive enough, when it comes we know exactly what to do. Not waiting for some signs and manifestation; So we don't start believing something we have no witness within us with the subject matter.
Jesus speaking Matt.16:4, said "A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed."
We have the Holy Spirit within us to lead us into the event of life as it unfold. Learn to yield!
Spirituality is man greatest need in this life.

SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....

BE RESOLUTE

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. John 6:38 If you need to, you may; examine yourself and see, can the above statement be true of you or about you? Because in life you will face obstacles and challenges that will press and push you to extreme limit or out of measure to a breaking point [in despair of life, according to Apostle Paul]. These things happens in other to make you change course; but stand thou resolute.  Jesus said, persecutions will arise for the Word sake.  In Matthew 26:39, Jesus was praying "... O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." While on the cross, Jesus cried out, "... My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"  Well..., the Father didn't go anywhere, but the heat of the situation(s) make it look that way.  Enroute the promise land, there are a lot of obstacles; there is nothing easy about it. Sure the Devil makes it d...

Extremely Blessed!

A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth. – Proverbs 17:8 If I could give you a gift this Christmas, the Word is what I'd give you. I'd rather give it to you than a check for a million dollars. Because you can run through a million dollars real quick, but the truth of God's Word never quits—and it will get you out of situations a million dollars can't get you out of. Ken and I are just ordinary people. But when we latched on to God's Word, we latched on to something out of the ordinary, something that changed our lives. Every area of our lives. Nothing that's happened to us has happened because of us. It's happened because of God's Word. In fact, I don't even have to know you to promise you this: If you'll give God's Word your full attention—and not be afraid of His will for your life—you're going to be happier and more prosperous than anything you could ever dream up. O...
