Word Guided life.



"And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand." - Acts 28:3.

Here we see that Paul was on assignment, prior to the incident above, in Acts 27:23-25 Paul said "For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar:..." verse 25 Paul said "... for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me."

The Apostle Paul was so confident about God's word of him appearing before Caesar; that when the viper attacked him, he was too certain he wouldn't be hurt.

When the viper fastened on Paul hand, Acts 28:5 said "... He shook of the beast into the fire, and felt no harm." there was no record that the snake ran out of the fire again, meaning it died completely on Paul's hand. When one is on His assignment he cannot be the prey, rather the predator.

I know one may say; but, it was the Angel that spoke to Paul, if an angel appear to me today, I will believe and have the Paul kind of faith, then I won't be afraid.
I will advise that you shouldn't seek to have encounters with angels before you believe what God is saying; because in 2 Cor. 11:14 it says "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." the Holy Bible is now the most authentic way God speaks to us, in 2 Peter 1:19 says "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:" you see, by constant meditation on the Word, light/understanding/revelation/insight will arise telling you the way to go.

Once, you get clear direction on what to do and where to go, His divine protection follows you, to keep and guide you.

Spend time on His Word, for in His word is life, protection, provision, prosperity and guidance. 1 Thess. 2:13 "For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe." believe the Word.

The question is; What has He ask you to do, are you on it?
If you are not, you will be vulnerable.

Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....

BE WISE.

  Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:17 God, at different times and in so many ways have tried and still trying to let us know what His will for us is (He never gives up on us) . Same way the devil is endeavouring to distract us from God's purpose for our life through various medium. There is a saying, when purpose of a thing is not known, the abuse of the thing is certain. Using a toddler for an example. He/she have no clue what a remote control to a television is, if they found one. They can drop it a bowl of water if available, and still feels happy about it; simply because they have no idea what it is meant for. But as they grow up their perspective change. Same way, God want us to grow to understand our purpose and His plans for our lives. PROSPER

 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2. The mind consist of one's will, intellect and emotions; which is the soul of man. At salvation the spirit of man; which is also referred to as the heart gets quickened or made alive (But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible,... ) 1 Peter 3:4  The heart is saved, the soul is not. You [we] have a duty to save our soul; and it has to be done through studying the word and meditating upon the word, that's when the transformation of mind/soul begins. Romans 12:2  "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your MIND, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." As you spend more time in the Word of God; like a mirror you beginning to see your true identity from it. This is the reason we are admonished to study the Word of God.
