Part-one
"Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms."
- James 5:13.
If you have make Jesus Christ the Lord of you life, there are a lot of things you should not be comfortable with, many of which are afflictions.
Man must recognize it or them, and stand against them. Unfortunately many believers are lazy to realize and differentiate between the blessing and curses. One must pray against things that are contrary to the blessing.
The above scripture says "is any afflicted? Let him pray!" Not calling people to pray for you; people can pray with you not for you. You are the main subject to do the praying.
You must understand you have been redeemed from the curse of the law (Gal. 3:13).
Read through Deut. 28:1-68; see the things that indicate a blessed life, Deut. 28:1-14. And Deut. 28:15-68, indicates the curses.
If, Deut. 28:1-14, is not being experienced; don't get comfortable with the situation you are confronted with, stand against it or them with the Word of God. Victory is yours, in Jesus!
Jesus is Lord!
