REST IN HIS WORD

With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

2 Chronicles 32:8

Rest is the proof that we trust and depend absolutely in God. Anxiety verify uncertainty.

Jesus said to His disciples, let's cross over to the other side and he went to sleep, and was still when the storm arose.

Peter was in a deep sleep in prison while waiting to be executed the following day, to prove how restful he was; the angel that came for his rescue had to smote him, to wake him up (how can you be sound asleep knowing you're about to be executed?).

Paul had received a Word from the Lord that he would also testify of Him in Rome, he had complete confidence in the Word of the Lord, and it was so strong that stripes, stoned, shipwreck, drawning, snakebite etc. couldn't kill him.

God's Word cannot fail if you've complete trust in Him. You'd hope to see your desires manifest. But faith in God is what gives substance to hope.

Hebrews 11:1 says,

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Whatever you are facing right now is temporal, His Word are eternal. If you have His word for that situation, you can stand firm on it.

Choose to believe His Word regardless of prevailing circumstances at the moment, it has expiration date; don't loose hope before then.

"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen (His Word) are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18

Have a fruitful week, in Jesus name!

Jesus is Lord!

Press In

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.... – Colossians 3:16 Things in this old world aren't getting any better, and in recent times, the Holy Spirit has been speaking an urgent message to my heart. He's been saying, Press in. Draw in to a more intimate relationship with your heavenly Father. If you don't, you won't make it. If you do, you will see more glorious outpourings of God than you can imagine. That message isn't just for me. It's also for you—and for every other believer on the earth today. We are in the last of the last days of this age. Jesus is coming soon. It's an exciting time, but it's also a dangerous time. Those who don't do what the Spirit says, who don't press in to the Lord, are going to go from disaster to disaster. But those who do will defeat the disasters and turn them into glory, in Jesus' Name! Your first step in drawing closer to God is to realize that you know God first in His Word. Time spent meditating i...
In the world(unsaved) system, we work harder…and harder…and still fall behind. If we do find a way to get ahead, we pay a high price for it by sacrificing time in God’s WORD, our family relationships or our health. While the figures in our bankbooks tell us we’re getting richer, in reality we’re becoming poorer. That’s the way the world’s economic system works. One way or another, there’s always sorrow with it because it’s under the curse.  As believers, however, we are no longer under that curse! Jesus has redeemed us from it. We don’t have to earn a living with our sweat and toil. THE BLESSING makes us rich. Unlike the world, we aren’t BLESSED because we’re rich, we are rich because we’re BLESSED!. SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....
