CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE BLESSING

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58 I listened to Arc. Bishop Benson Idahosa Preach a sermon on how Joseph prospered even in prison, and that many Christians though not in prison yet they aren't prospering. I believe one thing is responsible, and two reason why; (talking about the blessing) .  1. Lack of it. 2. Unconscious of it. You see, Joseph had the blessing of God in his life, because he is a seed of Abraham who obtained the promise. Joseph was very conscious of the blessing on him. One thing that makes the Jews successful in everything they do is that they approach every venture with the mentality and consciousness of the blessing and that they must succeed. This make them have the noticeable superiority mentality over everyone around them. The major problem with many Christians today, is that they haven't really not se...

COMFORT OTHERS

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Some of the things you're going through right now, though the enemy [the devil] meant it for evil, it'd turn for your good. If you do not faint before the end (Galatians 6:9).  You see, if you go through with it, by the time you're out of it, it'd put you in a better position to comfort those that may be experiencing similar difficulties with compassion, because you understand their plight.  Hebrews 2:18 speaking of Jesus; said this,  "For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted."  The Bible referred to Him [Jesus] as merciful and faithful High priest, because He was tempted in every way possible in the flesh so he can ...

YEA, TRUTH FAILETH

Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. Isaiah 59:15-16 The question is why aren't there men or intercessors? They've withdrawn from their duty post in pursuit of their personal ambition or in quest for survival, thereby ignoring their core mandate, therefore the foundations of the earth are out of course (Psalm 82:5). If you observe carefully, you'd notice that the justice system globally have been deeply compromised. With a system like that how do truth intend to prevail without divine intervention? It wouldn't.  Truth are being suppressed everywhere from homes, community, local and internationally. What is happening is not coincidence, it has been the handiwork of Satan through yielded vessels over th...

BE SWIFT TO TURN

And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day. And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth. Acts 23:1-2 You see, men are mostly limited to the natural or physical, they are aware of your wrongdoings, your shortcomings, but ain't privy to your personal relationship with God. They, or he personally [referring to the above text, high priest Ananias], was aware of some of Paul's activities. For example in Acts 22:19-20 Paul had said,  "And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee: And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him." Paul had just confess to a crime in the previous chapter; only for the same Apostle Paul now declaring before everyone boldly that he has lived in all good conscienc...

VICTORY WITH THE BLESSING

How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up? Deuteronomy 32:30 The above statement is a question as you may have noticed. But it's common for most people to quote it this way today, "one shall chase a thousand and two shall put ten thousand to flight". Do you know why this is common, as against the original text which is a question? It does not put any or much responsibility on them, the original text does, because it means you have to ponder on it, then make certain decisions.  James 2:20 says,  "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" The work in the main text is how to secure the presence of God. Hence it will only take the presence of God to shutoff your enemy. It'd requires you making a quality decision to walk in obedience to God, only then can one chase a thousand and two put ten thousand to flight. In the area where two or more people ...

BELIEVE SEE OR SEE BELIEVE?

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. John 20:29 In Luke chapter 4, after that Jesus had fasted 40 days and night and had been tempted by the devil. He went into the synagogue to read scriptures, there He found where it was written about Him, His purpose; after which He began teaching all that were present, and they were all astonished at the wisdom that proceeded from Him. But then they questioned His capacity, His personality and His origin, in verse 22;  "... And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?" You see, they delve back into the natural. And Jesus said in Luke 4:23,  "And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country." People believe more in the natural, because that's how the world has trained everyone to reason. "seeing is believing...

REAL ROOT

Awhile ago I listened to someone give a very intelligent analysis about certain subjects, his analysis actually make sense and are very sound, but it doesn't make God. I realize how spiritually ignorant he was about the real state (spiritual) of things. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says,  "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." The physical realm is a manifestation of spiritual realities. In other words, battles won or lost are determined in the spirit realm before the physical manifestation. If the priests do not take their place to declare peace across the world, you'd see wars spouting up everywhere physically. The agenda of the enemy is keep the priests off their duty posts, so he (the devil) can have his way instigating people against themselves. The devil wouldn't come out directly to state his mission, he will work around ways t...
