SAME TRICKS

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

Revelation 2:14

One of the greatest agenda of the enemy against a right standing believer, is to try to lure them away from their arena of protection and provision so he can afflict them. But as long as they'd (believer) remain faithful to the things of God, the enemy knows they're out of his reach.

Matthew 13:25 says,

"But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way."

This is how it works, Balaam knew that the Israelite couldn't be cursed in their righteous state, but because his eyes was fixed on the reward promised him by Balac. He taught Balac ways to go around it.

He told Balac that the only way he could overpower the Israelite is if God withdraw from their midst. And for that happen they have to smear themselves by engaging in immoral vises such as worshipping of idols, fornication, stealing etc., things that goes crosswise to the commandments of God; that's outright disobedient to God.

So, Balac pretended to be friends with the Israelite, with ulterior motive to ensnare them (Israelite), hence cunningly introduced them to all manner of ungodly lifestyle, which drove away the presence of God from their midst; as a result they were afflicted and defeated in many instances, won is some cases when they repented. But their ungodly lifestyle couldn't be completely eradicated from amongst them anymore its become a stumblingblock between them and God in many ways.

It is the same trick today, it hasn't change. Most of the addictions people struggle with today, were sown in those moments of vulnerability by those pretending to be friends, but influenced by a demonic force. Be it a nation or an individual.

I pray that God open your eyes to see the unfriendly friends around you, and the root cause of the challenges in your life today, and the grace to apply God's instruction for your triumphant living in Christ Jesus, receive it today, in Jesus name! God bless you!

Jesus is Lord!

Press In

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.... – Colossians 3:16 Things in this old world aren't getting any better, and in recent times, the Holy Spirit has been speaking an urgent message to my heart. He's been saying, Press in. Draw in to a more intimate relationship with your heavenly Father. If you don't, you won't make it. If you do, you will see more glorious outpourings of God than you can imagine. That message isn't just for me. It's also for you—and for every other believer on the earth today. We are in the last of the last days of this age. Jesus is coming soon. It's an exciting time, but it's also a dangerous time. Those who don't do what the Spirit says, who don't press in to the Lord, are going to go from disaster to disaster. But those who do will defeat the disasters and turn them into glory, in Jesus' Name! Your first step in drawing closer to God is to realize that you know God first in His Word. Time spent meditating i...
In the world(unsaved) system, we work harder…and harder…and still fall behind. If we do find a way to get ahead, we pay a high price for it by sacrificing time in God’s WORD, our family relationships or our health. While the figures in our bankbooks tell us we’re getting richer, in reality we’re becoming poorer. That’s the way the world’s economic system works. One way or another, there’s always sorrow with it because it’s under the curse.  As believers, however, we are no longer under that curse! Jesus has redeemed us from it. We don’t have to earn a living with our sweat and toil. THE BLESSING makes us rich. Unlike the world, we aren’t BLESSED because we’re rich, we are rich because we’re BLESSED!. SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....
