THE CHURCH

 



 

For the mystery of lawlessness [rebellion against divine authority and the coming reign of lawlessness] is already at work; [but it is restrained] only until he who now restrains it is taken out of the way.

2 THESSALONIANS 2:7 AMP


Who are those restraining the full functionalities of lawlessness and evil? Believers, backed by the Holy Spirit or the Holy Spirit through believers.  


Once the believers (the church of Christ) are out of the way, the Holy Spirit is lifted from the earth and return to the Father. Then you will see the full rot of iniquity and agony of this age and time [the Antichrist].


"As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." John 9:5. 

Jesus is the Head of the church. As long as the church remains in earth the Antichrist can't effectively function. This explains why the church is grievously under attack.

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. - Luke 10:41-42. Nobody just happened, we are created for specific purpose. Everybody cannot be head, or leg, or hand etc., each and everyone most identify their place and stay there, thus makeup the body system. The leg cannot say the hand is not performing its functions adequately, as a result, he will take its functions over. The leg would be led by the obvious and abuse its own purpose instead, why?
