Wisdom Primary Requirement

If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. Ecclesiastes 10:10.  The more we conform to earthly things, the more we loose touch with divinity. Then we blunt that needs sharpening. Things may not seem to be working, after trying all avenue. But, have you tried wisdom? The above text says, "wisdom is profitable to direct" that means it can direct our steps into the right path of life. How do we get this wisdom? James 1:5,  "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."  It means, God is the giver of wisdom, and he gives whomever ask of him. Have you ask him?  God gives us wisdom through his Word. Example, He said, in Matthew 6:33,  "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Unfortunately, people want it the other way aroun...

Judgement By Who?

1 Peter 4:17 "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:... " I have heard people quote this scripture with all the joy they can muster, like they are the judge, also to shame (believers) the body of Christ. When in actual fact the emphasis is on the remaining part of the verse; "... and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" believe the Word of God, you don't want to know about the end of the disobedient. It was Smith Wigglesworth who said these words, "Hell is such an awful place that even the demons hate the thought of going  there. How much more should men seek to be saved from the pit?" Believers, makes mistakes too, but that does not make an outcast, that is why God the Judge of all, will be the one to determine the acts that are deliberate and the ones that are unintentional or error. God determines what causes what, and on what premise, not man. "We jus...

Power To Choose

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 6:23 From the above text, it is clear a man can only reap what he sow. The wages, fruits, or end product of sin is death. But, the end product of the gift God is offering us, is life eternal. Jesus Christ is the gift! He is God's gift to man, that through him we can approach the Father, 2 Corinthians 5:19. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16. Someone said, the greatest expression of love is giving. I believe this statement! God so loved us, He gave us his only begotten Son to prove his love towards us. If you claim to love Him(God), what are you giving in return to prove your love? For example in Romans 12:1 the scripture says, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye PRESENT YOUR BODIES A LIVING SACRIFICE, ...

Faith, Rest!

And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. - Mark 11:21 What I observed from this passage of scripture is that after the conversation between Jesus Christ and the tree, he spoke these last words to the tree, "And Jesus answered and said unto it, NO MAN EAT FRUIT OF THEE HEREAFTER FOR EVER. And his disciples heard it." Mark 11:14.  Thereafter, He completely removed the conversation between him and that tree from His thought. And, He did not, stop-by every now and then, to see if the words he spoke to the tree was coming to pass or not. The Bible said, it was Peter, who called to his remembrance, what had happened to the tree, and he said in verse 23 and 24, in other words, once you have faith in God and you say a thing, believe that you have the answer and it will be so. The thing with us is that, once we profess our faith; all the time we go back and forth, trying to see the process. Well, it i...

Real Wealth

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  Revelation 3:17 Some of the most difficult people to preach the gospel with, are those who think they have somethings; in terms of riches. They make jest of us, like; how many cars do you have, if you have any? Things like that... Nobody starts from the top, in life. If you are going to make any significant impact in life, you have to start from the bottom, then grow. (foundation matters). It's amazing that after some time, when these ministries that looks insignificant today, beginning to grow and they can't be intimidated anymore, the mockers begin to feel threatened, then they start to persecute, or shame them, for living lavishly. Well, every good parent wants their child/children to grow, and that is what the Word of God is saying, from the above text, reading it through the next, verse [18] say...
