Make Your Priority Right

For God so loved the world, that he gave ...
 - John 3:16.

Giving is the highest expression of love.
In the account of John 11:20; when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she ran to meet him, but Mary abode still, probably she didn't know. But, in vs 29, when Martha informed her(Mary), she rose quickly, and came to him 'Jesus'.
Mary expressed her love in various ways one of them is through her SUBSTANCE (Alabaster Box, expensive perfume), not just with activities or eye service, she expressed it by giving. John 12:3 gave this account.

Secondly, in Luke 10:41-42. Mary was more interested in seeking to know more of God, thereby giving her ATTENTION. Martha on the other hand (though a good and sincere person), but, was busy, busy, busy and carried away with activities. We must understand the timing of everything, so we don't have misplaced priorities. Remember in Ecclesiastes 5:1, the scripture says,
"Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil." it becomes an evil in the sight of God, when our priorities are out of other.

Without first knowing His person, we cannot please Him. We must seek to know the depth of His love for us. Only then, that we can offer acceptable service and sacrifice.
Reading from Luke 10:42, Jesus said to Martha, "But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."
When we have full understanding of any subject, it become very difficult or impossible for anyone to persuade us otherwise or try to talk us out of it.

Seek to know him first that way we can offer acceptable service. Without a perfect knowledge of His person, our sacrifices and stewardship will just be mere religious activities with no real substance and no reward, most times it end in frustration.

God will reorder our priority from today, in Jesus name!

Choose To Forgive

"And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors... For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:" Matt. 6:12;14. The Scripture admonish us to forgive not just debts, offenses, etc. In Isa. 43:25 God had to forgave us for His own sake, meaning each time we have unforgiveness in our heart, it limit the flow of the anointing which is the power of God at work in us. Many think they are perfect, but non is perfect and sinless before God, except by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, which is by grace. 1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." it does not matter the personality, not even Peter, James and John could claim righteousness without Jesus Christ and the blood. So we don't have examples to pattern after except Jesus Christ, He is the RIGHTEOUS (1John 2:1). We must be mindful, man will always want to make himself the pattern for others to follow after, like ...

The Needful or Obvious Pt.1

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. - Luke 10:41-42. Nobody just happened, we are created for specific purpose. Everybody cannot be head, or leg, or hand etc., each and everyone most identify their place and stay there, thus makeup the body system. The leg cannot say the hand is not performing its functions adequately, as a result, he will take its functions over. The leg would be led by the obvious and abuse its own purpose instead, why? He was not created to perform the function of the hand. When these things are properly understood, it will help us to gain speed towards the fulfillment of our purpose. Everyone will give account of his or her stewardship, when the time comes, what will be your report, when all that you have been doing is the obvious(somebody else's assignment), and ignoring yours or ...

SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....
