Take Godly Stand

While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. - 2 Peter 2:19. Don't be among the ungodly. Anything, anywhere and anyone that does not have anything representing godly values in them is ungodly. Be it movie, music, business, association etc. If, you are in association with these categories please change, and realign with the Godly. The ungodly are in bondage and promised you things that will put you into the same bondage as them. God resist such people, your association with them means, you will be resisted alongside as well, Psalm 1:1. "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful." Ezekiel 18:4 says, "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." Well, anyone ...

God Desire Our Greatness.

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: - Genesis 12:1 When God asked Abram (before his name became Abraham) to depart from his father's house, don’t think it was a easy decision, because it's not. Here we see a seventy-five years old man; take a decision to leave everything, including inheritance and relatives behind to no-certain destination; except, that God told him, He would show him as he go. Prior to this, there is no example that he can make reference to that have done same. If you don't think he was mocked, think again. But, in chapter thirteen verse two the scripture said, "And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold." God may not speak to you to depart as recorded in Genesis 12:1. Yet, He's speaks through the Bible, Pastor's and through other medium to make Jesus the Lord of your life. If you are open to the...

Faith Life

And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers. - Genesis 48:21 Living a life of faith, would mean that one has made a quality decision to live trusting God, till transition. You say with absolute conviction that certain mountains would move, believing it would, no matter what. Mark 11:23. The only way I believe faith will not work for an individual, is when he decide to try faith out. Most time it is faith that ends up trying the individual, and obviously he/she will fail. In Hebrews 11:29 "By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying(means attempting, trying) to do were drowned." Here we see that Moses and the Israelite stepped out in faith to cross the Red sea on a dry land, by obedience. Whereas the Egyptians tried to do same, drowned. God is not on trial, we must make a quality decision to believe God, no matter what. The Bible says in Hebrews...

Empowerment For Prompt Obedience

And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the Lord! - Numbers 20:3 Why were they in strive and frustration with Moses? If you read further you will see, it is not just because they lacked water alone. They have overstayed in the wilderness, beyond the required time. Actually, they ought to have entered into the land, God had promised them, but fear kept them wondering in the wilderness. (Numbers 13 and 14 illustrate the story). They had over stayed their welcome in the wilderness, God's presence had left the place. They began to react in frustration to everything around them at the slightest provocation. Unfortunately, the children of Israel were stagnant and frustrated, and got  Moses into trouble with God in the process of their murmuring and complaining (Numbers 20:12) , because he(Moses) reacted in anger to their continuous nagging; of course everyone in the camp was weary, including Moses. As a resu...
