Blessed In The Midst Of Famine.

And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly. - Genesis 47:27. In the world today were famine, confusion and turmoil has become the other of the day, only the redeemed can leave a stress free life. From the above scripture, we, understand that Israel was in Egypt at a period when famine was at it's highest, and the citizens of Egypt had sold themselves to Pharaoh(both themselves and their land) and have become servants, they even begged to be servants of Pharaoh's. Yet the portion of land in Egypt that the Israelites had occupied was blossoming and they are ever increasing in wealth and numbers, why?! They are covenant practitioner, they are walking in the covenant and most importantly they are chosen. We have same opportunity today " But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew  6:33. What things, you m...

Little To Multiplication

Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. - 1 Kings 17:9. Notice God didn't send him (Elijah) to the wealthiest and well to do, NO! If you read from 1Kings 17:9-24. You will discover the land was experiencing famine, there were no food and this woman(widow) was gathering all she can find to prepare the last meal for herself and her son to eat and then die... She said it with her own words! Here is a man of God, sent by God to this woman, saying to her; " ....Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son." 1 Kings 17:13. What do you mean? Practically, What is left will not be enough for her and her son; and here is prophet saying "make for me first" . I mean naturally if she did, nothing will be left, but she obeyed. Knowing he is a prophet sent by God. We must understand...

Obedience, Pathway To Greatness.

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: -Acts 10:34 I have heard of unbelievers pay Tithes and offering in Churches and I have wondered why? Then the Holy Spirit said to me, "there is a body of believers I have spoken to over and over again, to bring their offerings and tithes that there maybe be meat in my house Mal.3:10. But, have turned deaf ears and some pretended not to hear. I have no respect for persons, religion, race etc. Whosoever obey Me is blessed accordingly, I can use unbelievers and the least qualified." A story that has been on social media for sometime now, came to my mind (I don't know if it's true or not: it has not be verified to my knowledge; but it paints a vivid picture) it goes; Lt. Arch. Bishop Benson Idahosa had some missionaries who as a matter of urgency have to return to their station. But, find out that all flights had been booked, but went ahead and approached the passengers a...

The Prosperous Life

Beloved, I will above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth: -3John2. We must know before God created men He put everything in place that man will ever have need of; water, food/meat etc. Then in Gen.1:28. after he created man He(God) released/command the blessing upon man saying "be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over ..." so God created man to live a prosperous life and to lack nothing on the earth. But, man was deceived and handled all the blessing, glory, riches, dominion and so on... over to satan, thereby making satan the god of this world. 2Cor.4:4. We must understand that man was originally the god of this world because God handled it to man; man in turn handled it over to satan, through deception and tricks, all the power and glory thereby; which led to the fall of man. Mankind has since been under the oppression of the devil. Hence the broken fellowship between God an...
