An Easy Command to Obey (Landfill Pt.4)

If you want to know how God pulls people out of the landfill of poverty and promotes them to the boardroom of abundance, there it is, right there. He says to all of us what Jesus said to His disciples that day. “Bring what you have to Me.” Some people think that’s a hard command to obey, but it’s really not. Once you have a revelation of what Jesus wants to do for you, once you really believe that on the cross He became poorer than any person ever, that He bore the curse of poverty so that you could become as rich as He is, it’s easy to put what you have in His hands.
Even if you don’t have a penny to your name, you’ll be so eager to give something to Jesus you’ll go outside somewhere, find a decent-looking rock, polish it up and bring it to Him. You’ll be like the Macedonians and make an offering out of yourself! Why? Because you know He’ll do the same thing for you that He did for His disciples when they handed Him those few loaves and fish. He’ll take what you give Him and bless it; and as Proverbs 10:22 says, “The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” THE BLESSING of The LORD is what turned the disciples’ paltry provisions into an “all-you-can-eat” meal for the multitudes. THE BLESSING is what caused the food to multiply in the disciples’ hands so that, as they gave it to the people, “they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full” (Matthew 14:20). Will THE BLESSING do the same for you in your situation? Yes, it will! All you have to do is cooperate with it by putting faith in God’s WORD. Believe what He said about your financial condition instead of what the world says. Then bring what you have to Him and say, “LORD, what do You want me to do? Who do You want me to feed? Who do You want me to serve?” It doesn’t matter if you’re sitting there with five empty pockets and holes in every one of them. It doesn’t matter if the hour is late and you’re stuck out in the middle of a financial desert. Get yourself off your mind and determine to be a blessing to someone else. Give God something to multiply in your life. He can make the desert bloom like a rose right where you’re standing. He can turn your nothing into a Garden of Eden; and He can do it before you can say, “Bless it again!” But it has to start inside you first. So grab your Bible and renew your mind. Take the water of The WORD and wash away every trace of that old poverty mentality. Move out of the landfill of lack and into the boardroom of abundance. As a joint heir with Jesus, that’s where you belong.

SETTLED SOUL

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....

BE RESOLUTE

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. John 6:38 If you need to, you may; examine yourself and see, can the above statement be true of you or about you? Because in life you will face obstacles and challenges that will press and push you to extreme limit or out of measure to a breaking point [in despair of life, according to Apostle Paul]. These things happens in other to make you change course; but stand thou resolute.  Jesus said, persecutions will arise for the Word sake.  In Matthew 26:39, Jesus was praying "... O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." While on the cross, Jesus cried out, "... My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"  Well..., the Father didn't go anywhere, but the heat of the situation(s) make it look that way.  Enroute the promise land, there are a lot of obstacles; there is nothing easy about it. Sure the Devil makes it d...

Extremely Blessed!

A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth. – Proverbs 17:8 If I could give you a gift this Christmas, the Word is what I'd give you. I'd rather give it to you than a check for a million dollars. Because you can run through a million dollars real quick, but the truth of God's Word never quits—and it will get you out of situations a million dollars can't get you out of. Ken and I are just ordinary people. But when we latched on to God's Word, we latched on to something out of the ordinary, something that changed our lives. Every area of our lives. Nothing that's happened to us has happened because of us. It's happened because of God's Word. In fact, I don't even have to know you to promise you this: If you'll give God's Word your full attention—and not be afraid of His will for your life—you're going to be happier and more prosperous than anything you could ever dream up. O...
