The Separated

... and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
-Revelation 5:9.

God has called every believer to Himself and separated from the world. We are separated from family's, traditions, nativity, state and even nation. We are now heavenly citizens as ambassadors on the earth.
Remember, when Jesus was speaking to his disciples and the mother came desiring to speak to him?
Matt.12:46-49 "While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!"  Also in Mark 3:31-35.
Another clear example is Abraham. Gen.12:1 "Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:" but Gen.12:4 said lot went with him. We all saw that Abraham life never saw the promised breakthrough until Lot departed or separated from Abraham, it was then that God ask Abraham to lift up his eyes.
Gen. 13:14-15. "And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever." Thereafter blessings, blessings and more blessings.

We must understand that we have obligation to relations i.e sibling, parents etc. But we must be more conscious of our spiritual stand and obligation. For example Jesus didn't separate himself totally from his siblings. James and John worked with him throughout, but not just as sibling.
We must be able to separate the two. If, we must live a triumphant life here and now. More grace!

Choose To Forgive

"And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors... For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:" Matt. 6:12;14. The Scripture admonish us to forgive not just debts, offenses, etc. In Isa. 43:25 God had to forgave us for His own sake, meaning each time we have unforgiveness in our heart, it limit the flow of the anointing which is the power of God at work in us. Many think they are perfect, but non is perfect and sinless before God, except by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, which is by grace. 1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." it does not matter the personality, not even Peter, James and John could claim righteousness without Jesus Christ and the blood. So we don't have examples to pattern after except Jesus Christ, He is the RIGHTEOUS (1John 2:1). We must be mindful, man will always want to make himself the pattern for others to follow after, like ...

The Needful or Obvious Pt.1

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. - Luke 10:41-42. Nobody just happened, we are created for specific purpose. Everybody cannot be head, or leg, or hand etc., each and everyone most identify their place and stay there, thus makeup the body system. The leg cannot say the hand is not performing its functions adequately, as a result, he will take its functions over. The leg would be led by the obvious and abuse its own purpose instead, why? He was not created to perform the function of the hand. When these things are properly understood, it will help us to gain speed towards the fulfillment of our purpose. Everyone will give account of his or her stewardship, when the time comes, what will be your report, when all that you have been doing is the obvious(somebody else's assignment), and ignoring yours or ...

SETTLED SOUL

  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 The state of one's mind [ soul ] determines his/her place in destiny. In life people are forced to bow to pair pressure or any other kind of pressure when they don't have a stable mind, or let's say the person have identity issue.  When Satan tempted Christ Jesus on His way from the wilderness after forty days prayer and fasting, what was the first question he asked Him? "if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....
