We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:~ Numbers 11:5
These people have no idea about the nutritional nor the medicinal values of quails. However, they were accusing God of not caring.
There is no amount of benefit outside purpose that can quantify the benefits from purpose; no matter how little or insignificant it seemed at the beginning.
1 Corinthians 3:13-14 says,
"Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward."
The Israelites were complaining and comparing their situation with the benefits they thought they'd be enjoying while still in Egypt as bond men and women.
I know it is not easy to adapt when, you had an official car with escorts, a large and beautiful office, every one responding to you, yes Sir/Madam in the office.
Now, in pursuit of purpose, it seems as if, it will take forever to get that breakthrough you need. Moreover, people that have known you before now, now see you and snob you.
Please note this, it's a phase; it will pass, if you remain resolute, steadfast and focus, you will soon be a surprise to yourself, if you do not bow to pressure.
Unfortunately, Satan has built prison houses and furnished it with assorted foods, to entice many. Suffice to say that many have been enticed.
Not for long, the doors will be shut and the supply will run out; before many will realize it, it may be too late.
The question to ask one's self is, if my work is tried; after all said and done. Will my work abide? Or will the fire consume them?
Discovery of purpose, and the pursue of same, is key, not the type of food.
