Believe It

Acts 28:3-6
And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. [4] And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. [5] And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm. [6] Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

You see, Paul was very cautious of the God that cannot fail. He saw, read or heard Jesus's Word in Mark 16. "Go ye", "take up serpent" etc. So, he had no fear in him whatsoever. He BELIEVED the Word!

Mark 16:15;18,
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature....[18] They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

When you are on the go for Him, you have God with you, you cannot afford to be fearful.
As long as you are on the assignment, He has given you, be assured of his presence and protection. In His presence is Joy and Peace.

These can't be bought. It comes with the assignment, it's called the blessing. Hallelujah!

"if thou be the Son of God" if Jesus had had identity issue, he would have fallen for temptation in the view to show off, as a result lost His place and purpose. Knowing fully well that God had said, "... Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Lk. 3:22. Before embarking on the wilderness expenditure.  When you know who you are in the Word of God and are established in it; you wouldn't bow to the pressure of the world, because you see things differently....

PROSPER

 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2. The mind consist of one's will, intellect and emotions; which is the soul of man. At salvation the spirit of man; which is also referred to as the heart gets quickened or made alive (But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible,... ) 1 Peter 3:4  The heart is saved, the soul is not. You [we] have a duty to save our soul; and it has to be done through studying the word and meditating upon the word, that's when the transformation of mind/soul begins. Romans 12:2  "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your MIND, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." As you spend more time in the Word of God; like a mirror you beginning to see your true identity from it. This is the reason we are admonished to study the Word of God. Satan knows this, so he tries...

BE WISE.

  Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:17 God, at different times and in so many ways have tried and still trying to let us know what His will for us is (He never gives up on us) . Same way the devil is endeavouring to distract us from God's purpose for our life through various medium. There is a saying, when purpose of a thing is not known, the abuse of the thing is certain. Using a toddler for an example. He/she have no clue what a remote control to a television is, if they found one. They can drop it a bowl of water if available, and still feels happy about it; simply because they have no idea what it is meant for. But as they grow up their perspective change. Same way, God want us to grow to understand our purpose and His plans for our lives.
