Christ came to this world to quicken humanity that will make the decision to live; since all men died through Adam transgression, Ephesians 2:1 "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;" He (Jesus) came, took our place and has given us a name, Philippians 2:9-10 "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;" And also, His precious blood, Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;...." These two mysteries has he given us as weapon to overcome the devil and his agents, so we can live a triumphant life here, and thereafter. "... which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;" - Titus 1:2 Grace, truth and peace be multiplied, in Jesus name! A lot is evolving every passing day. However, we should be mindful; that some things are in vogue and everybody is doing a thing, does not make it right or approved by God. I believe the Word of God should be the yard stick for our day to day decisions. Luke 21:33 says, "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away." By doing things that go against the word of God, one is simply calling God a liar or saying there is no God, consciously or unconsciously! Whatever anyone does that is against the written word, is against Him. If one is conscious of His existence, then that will amount to outright disobedience and there are consequences. "Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?" - Matthew 26:53 Meaning, I can ask my Father for twelve legion of angles to get rid of these foes. It will be my own will, yet, He will answer; but, I choose to follow His perfect will. (1 Sam. 8.) You see the children of Israel made a request to have their own King, although it was not His perfect will for them, He eventually granted them their request. How much more when we ask Him in accordance to His will. John 15:7. It's not late, don't give up before it's over. All things are possible with Him (Luke 1:37).
